    -Strong relationship with Westbrook
    -Strong relationship with Harden
    -In Houston right now
    -Went on record after the CP3 trade to say that Harden is one of the best teammates and leaders he's ever been around and doesn't understand how anyone could not get along with him
    -Rockets have (in theory) openings on their coaching staff
    -Teams have raved for years about Perkins influence on a lockeroom, trying to sign him for playoff runs where he wouldn't play lol

    Edit: To clarify I mean as a coach

    I don't know about his coaching credentials but as an assistant coach? sure, Gotta start somewhere and he is a no nonsense guy.
