Only because Bobby Brown was wearing his brand.

Did you know bobby brown and james harden are super close, like brothers?

Westbrook is also super close to Harden. It's like a trade request to the Rockets but not too much to call it tampering.

yea that was a false alert. he knows it would be a bad idea to be here with CP and James. Let's just hope we can snag Winslow. Maybe even Miami prefers Shumpert on a friendly deal with a pick attached after this trade is completed.

Maybe it means something, I thought it did until I noticed the tags.

It's hard to tell in this. One thing is for certain this team is better with Winslow added and nothing taken away than it would be by adding Russ while taking at least one of Eric or Capela away. He's taller, he's younger, he's less injury prone, he's less paid, a better defender and he can shoot better

That also breaks up that big contract into multiple smaller contracts.

OKC losing WestBrick is in total rebuild mode , back to the draft lottery you go.

I'd take Olynyk , Waiters and Winslow and a pick for WestBrick ….

Winslow doesn't fit your timeline so you move him out for whatever draft assets you can get.
Olynyk gives you the option to move Adams and Waiters is expiring the following year.

You can be well below the cap , have a multitude of picks …. Maybe you can lure a max type FA (or two) - the LA / Miami teams aren't going to be in the market next couple years , just being put together.

Memphis is in a similar situation with a lot of cap space …. minus all the picks.

I see Miami has put their spin artists to work.

Westbrook is overrated but you won't get him for scraps Riley. Especially when sending him to you devalues your future picks that OKC owns.

I agree with @Nook , OKC wants to get under the LT and Miami can't do this for them. Their assets aren't that appealing and they have no draft picks to trade. OKC has an interest in the Heat being bad so that they get their draft pick at a better position. I don't really want the Rockets to do this, but if the Rockets were interested in getting into this pursuit, I think we easily beat Miami's offer.

    Comprehend please.

Beal is a player like butler. A “B” star

Westbrook on a team turns into russ’s team. It would be the westbrook show. I.E. not a team built around butler.

I guess he can't look like he's being traded to Oklahoma City, not now. ;-)

I think it's debatable that sending Westbrook to Miami devalues their picks. I think it can be argued it increases their value. He's a loser and he's been on a steady decline for two years.
