You are welcome to post those stats, I dun recall him being a scorer, ever. Also I think the Gleague got better than the NBDL Development league, predecessor.
33% free throw shooter? Come on now Zhou. Also, I really hope he can avoid injury for a little while. He looks brittle, and his injury history is already pretty rich.
It's hard to evaluate role-players in the G league because they are well, role players. meaning they succeed in their limited role which means they won't get inflated stats even in lesser leagues. i am a Zhou Qi fan and I believe he will be a quality rotation player in the years to come.

Real talk we might need to revisit Zhou Qi. But this time put him with the really good players so he can get better. Instead of playing him with the scrubs.
With his thin frame and basic awkwardness, I can never see more than 7-8 mpg avg for him in the NBA. Even that would be a stretch (4). Nice set shot though.
The last move he makes in the video is really nice. I can't really say if I rather have Zhou or Hartentstein on the team for development purposes. I like that Zhou can shoot. If we could put Zhou and Hartenstein in a blender maybe we would end up with a good backup C.
I always thought the kid had potential, and he's slowly improved on that. He'll never be All-NBA Defensive Team, much less DPOY, but he could be a rotation piece and a different look to throw at opponents from time to time.
