After watching that, I think he should have got the MVP instead of Kawhi.

I hope @Clutch moves this to the Jeremy Lin thread. Let the nuts that defend him and hate on him stay contained within that thread.

You know, from my perspective, the issue was NEVER with Lin specifically, but rather with some of the people who were fans of his (who really new nothing about the NBA they just liked him because he was Asian).

As for Lin himself, I could care less one way or another about him, HOWEVER, one thing I do have for the kid is RESPECT.

For all you people ragging on him, he made it to the top of his profession, in a sport that is played around the damn world, he made it to the NBA, a league that EVERY kid who plays the game dreams of making. There's 30 teams and each team has 12-15 players (so roughly 450 players) and it's also one of the most competitive leagues not only to just make one year but to keep your job yr after yr.

He had COUNTLESS odds against him and he made it to the NBA.

With all that said, you clowns (and you know who you are) have the balls to rag on this kid? Again I get ragging on some of his followers, but Lin himself?

Hate him all you want, but this kid beat the odds and is living the dream that you HATERS would kill for.

Don't underestimate his leadership. Similar to Carlos Beltran during the Astros World Series victory, Lin has continually provided proper guidance to younger more impressionable players like Van Fleet, Pascal and Kawhi. Even though he didn't play much, both Beltran's and Lin's presence has made a significant difference. Just look at all the interview's after the game and past few weeks.

This was a zero to him. I would guess this was aimed at his fans. Pretty funny

If only McHale used this strategy with Lin , we’d beat Portland

The way he just knew that the ref wanted the ball, these are the instincts you can’t teach, that champions are made of.

He can create a cult of mindless insecure lying and jealous followers that would outnumber David Koresh and Heaven's Gate combined 100 fold

He can command his followers to go basketball sites and make fake accounts all day to spam them because he's insecure like them about his basketball skills

He can turn his race and religion to his advantage to make more money off his cult , it makes Amway look like a pyramid scheme
