    it's shocking that the Morris are still available. They were supposed to get big contracts but now there's very little money left. Are they waiting for Kawhi?

    If the Rockets still trade Capela for Brown, getting Looney and/or McGee would still be a win for me. I hope we can also re-sign Rivers but that's not too likely.

    I can't decide what our top priority should be - bringing back Rivers to relieve some ball-handling duties and provide backup for CP3 when he gets injured, or someone like JayMchal Green who I would love at PF, because we still only have PJ Tucker, and we need to reduce his minutes at some point - he can't keep this workload up.

    However if we whiff on our targets I wonder if we think about just sticking to the smaller MLE in order to not hard cap ourselves. We do have several smaller TPE's, so they could be used to absorb salary and we don't have to worry about the apron. The Marquesse Chriss and Brandon Knight TPE's are both worth around the BAE, which could come in handy. You'd lose out on Rivers, but could bring back Shumpert with bird rights at a really team-friendly deal which could also be very useful in future trades.

    We can’t even sign AUSTIN RIVERS! We can’t even run it back if we wanted to. Has to be a trade and I’m guessing it won’t be until mid season. Argh!!!! WHY did we try to get under the salary cap last year?!? WHY WHY WHY? We’re screwed now that the west has reloaded.
