    And it is our fault...

    “in morey we trust.”

    “Dork Wizard”

“Morey is the best Gm in the league.”

We have been inflating this guys head over the last 10 years... and he really believes he is smarter than he is...

When he signed Ryan Anderson to rhat contract he really crippled our team...

    Again with Cp3 contract...

And today we have suffered the consequences of all the years of gassing this really mediocre mind of basketball.
He is a number cruncher with no feel for the game or or feel for talent. Got lucky with Harden and has gotten a free pass ever since...

We can only blame ourselves folks

As said before, Tilman is the bigger Evil.

MDA being a lesser one but still not helping.

Morey isn't a mediocre GM, I would love to see him on the Lakers though.

He would at least get some of his FA targets.

But he has to improve empathy and human contact. Lakers are big on that.

I wouldn't say like full on cripple... I mean he's got the Rockets to the WCFs and winning series... I mean in one year alone (well like all but 3 w/ Harden), the Rockets have equaled or won more series each year than the entire Yao/Mac Era combined (houston advanced 1x with them and T-Mac was out)... So that's something, right? Unfortunately the window is closing, so hopefully something great happens here...

I wish Morey wouldn't try at all. My pee pee hurts real bad when he doesn't get someone that isn't considered a superstar but is like a somewhat better version of a player we already have named Eric Gordon...we also have to get rid of Capela to make this work and will need to fill out the roster with veteran minimum guys from here on out. That sounds stupid and so do most of you right now. You youngsters have no idea how bad us Rockets fans had it for years with guys named Charlie Thomas and Steve Patterson in the 80's and early 90's. We had arguably the greatest player of all time in his prime but we had an organization that would surround him with guys named Joe Barely Cares, Derrick Chevious, Dirk Minnifield (can't dribble between his legs), Dave Jamerson, John Turner, Steve Harris, etc. They turned down trades for MJ and Drexler but nearly traded Hakeem for Rony Seikley. Not because we thought better of the trade but because Miami turned it down. As a white man, I could never argue white privilege doesn't exist when you got a guy like Steve Patterson getting job after job even after his horrible track record with the Rockets. People in the media will defend this guy. They are the same type of people that would hire him in a heartbeat. How funny that the Texans and the Longhorns gave him jobs in their organizations after his stint with the Rockets. You might also be too young to remember that our championship coach & gm combo that help bring this city back 2 back championships would then years later give big time contracts to Kelvin Cato, Mo Taylor and Moochie Norris that would solidify us as a non-playoff team for 4 seasons. Since Morey took over, we are always in the hunt for the top free agents each season. I know most of you young Rocket fans just cycled up your periods but relax. Morey is in charge. He's the same gm that assembled the only legitimate threat against the Warriors the last couple of years. The Raptors would of never won against a fully healthy Warriors team. The Rockets are in a great position to make another run at the title. Thank god we got the best gm in basketball and we kept this team together for one more run.

    2017 - 55 wins and 2nd round exit
    2018 - 65 wins and WCF exit
    2019 - 53 wins and 2nd round exit

Things are bad, yes, but we're really close. Keep in mind that while we were trying to catch up to Golden State, other teams have been trying to catch up to us. I think those other teams have closed the gap, but the window is still open.

You dun know that, every season is different. CP3 is on decline and new injuries pop up.

The window is not totally shut but it has closed to a large degree. Lakers are about to get Kawhi. (if that happens though)

There is of course the chance of overachieving again, but normally it ends in the Playoffs.

He’s definitely not as good as some people make him out to be, and his constant yapping and making statements that make him look stupid like “we’ve been the 2nd best team the last 20 years” or whatever he said is annoying AF, but let’s not start acting like he’s trash. We could easily do worse, but he better get his sh*t together. As he continues running his mouth, Harden’s prime is getting wasted before our very eyes.

less talk, MORE ACTION...tired of this dude running his mouth

"Best GM in basketball"? Nope. Better than average? Yes. But he has made plenty of boneheaded moves. He made one really good move when he got Harden, and he's done some smart things here and there, along with a quite a few really dumb things. There clearly are better GMs.

gsw was a middling playoff team earlier this decade with mark jackson as coach. they also very nearly traded klay thompson for klove and also steph curry for andrew bogut the year before that. and it wasn't as if they kept their trade intentions on the quiet side back then either. the only change they made the following season after the nixed klay for klove trade was to bench david lee and put donkey in the starting lineup... and that changed everything.
front offices can make trades or may fail to make any significant moves.. but even when things stay stagnant, at some point things just click and come together and the team gets over the hump. i don't know if this rockets team has it in them, but you have to admit they have been an elite team the past 2 seasons. there's nothing wrong with keeping the same core- if that core has been mostly successful against pretty much every team in the nba.

The Rockets need to embrace building through the draft.

Bottom line is, Morey not as good without Sam Hinkie and Gersson Rosas helping him out. 3 smart GMs are better than one.

How do you think this team was built in the first place with no tanking and Yaos contract still on the books? Got Harden, Howard and CP3? Ungrateful Fans I Swear!

Remember when Tillman said we can go into the tax to improve the team and we aren’t doing any of that? Good times. Sounds like a lie.

What did you realistically expect to happen for us today that didn’t? Just curious.
