I don't disagree with any of that. I'm saying that a lot of us thought from the beginning that the odds of JB coming to Houston were minimal at best, yet a lot of posters were getting their hopes way up. The meltdown will be epic if/when Butler picks Miami.

I am not all convinced that Houston can get him, but what you just said makes no sense.
You want to guess where Houston native Gerald Green met the Rockets last season? I know GG is no JB, but still.

GG met the Rockets in LA

To get Philly to do a S&T, Philly must believe that they can lose Butler to another team for something nothing, which would be worse than what the Rockets are offering. So, it's not necessarily a bad sign that Butler is meeting with other teams.

Dude Wade brought them multiple rings and a big 3 and was a straight baller in his prime. Basically played his entire career there until Heat wouldn’t over pay him like LA did for Kobe in his final years

Butler will get hype love his first year and be a afterthought soon after

He’s on the wrong side of his 20s and needs to get that ring

I am cool with Jimmy in Miami. As long as he doesn't make another team competitive, I don't care.

I been on the "Let's focus on realistic players" bandwagon while the majority is stuck on the Jimmy Butler dream.

How unprofessional a management can get? Leak information about the trade to public even without getting a signal from Butler.

I was thinking it was a small chance until Daryl made his appearance on Instagram. If it doesn’t come to be after that, then it will ridiculous as hell that he was being so cocky about it.

Well the 76ERS need a threat for someone to sign him out right and lose him for nothing to make this work.

I agree it wasn't smart to "like" posts about Butler. But it was always a longshot. We're broke.

Makes the most sense, then KD goes with irving

It will be big 2s all over the league make things competitive

    AD, Lebron
    Westbrook, George
    Kawhi, butler
    harden, CP3
    curry, klay
    Check, lillard

Comes down to coaching and role players

Every other star has 3 at most 4 teams chasing him. How come only Butler has 6? And who knows who else is going to show up next

That’s nice, but Woj is reporting Durant and Kawhi are exploring teaming up. Butler’s a back-up plan for the Clippers should Durant-Kawhi choose the Knicks

I think a lot of people on Clutcfans are hoping the Rockets fail which is so strange to me. I dont get how Gloating misfortune is more fun than the Rockets winning. Too much self loathing.
