FWIW, I believe the Raptors are favorites to sign Kawhi at -225. I think the Clippers come in at +175 or something.

Won’t matter if the offense is still stand around and watch one player jackhammer the court with the ball.

If 76ers don’t offer 5years, he is coming.
    It’s likely not offering 5years.

Kawhi is not recruiting Butler, that’s the media acting as mouthpieces for the Clippers and the like. Steve Balmer has put serious money in his propaganda machine.

Morey has 6ers fans so triggered they went from calling all of it fake news to breaking down where to send Capela in 24 hours.

Beyond that, it's only doing us a favor by putting that Clippers threat out there to make sure Elton Brand plays ball (so to speak).

BIG BOLD LETTERS HERE: IT'S STILL "IF" JIMMY BUTLER WANTS TO COME HERE

If Jimmy didn't want to be here, the Rockets would know at this point. Jimmy could have shut down all this talk a long time ago.

"If you haven't got anything nice to say, come sit next to me." -- Olympia Dukakis, "Steel Magnolias" (hey, it's a Southern movie, I can be forgiven a quote from a chick flick)

If he's trying to drive up his price, he has millions of reasons not to shut down any perception of teams going after him.

    Are we?

If Chris Paul is as bad as he was last year, we certainly don’t have a Big 3

I dun sense a Big 3 either. Sure, Harden has to lend some touches to Jimmy but it is still Harden heavy Offense I am sure.

Big 3 on paper and in name, which is fine. And Chris Paul is the one who has to make most of the sacrifices while declining.

i agree. i think the biggest difference here is that butler is a playmaker on his own and can create his own shot. so wont have to rely on just 2 playmakers now.
