It's also true that the Bulls have been a trash organization, spying their players and do some weird ****, used some reporters to talk **** about the players...Wolves have been bad too over the years, and nobody forced them to trade for him in the first place, he had no reason to commit to them because they traded for him, that's a risk they took and didn't work out.

Amick is really good but you have to take his HOU info with a grain of salt imo. He is very pro-Rockets and gets everything from Morey.

 

After what Brand had to give up this year for his big 4, there was no way that he wouldn't cooperate to get a 1st pick back. It helps that the Rockets are also in the West. If it was their bitter rival Boston that was pressuring, I could see them still refusing.

He won't accept worthless bagage like Capela's albatrossesque salary though.

 

Well yes, those minimum guys sucked but there was also no good trades made either which made those minimum guys look even worse. I am not sure what he was smoking last season but I feel like we just didn't have any "momentum" all offseason. Not sure if that was due to Tillman trying to get a lay of the land first or what. I trust that if we can get Butler, Morey has several other deals for MLE (Looney) and minimum guys lined up somehow, someway based on the buzz surrounding a Harden, Butler, CP3 (and one of Tucker, Capela, Gordon) core. That is about as strong of a team as we have ever seen around these parts. Not to mention that you could theoretically come back with guys like House, Gerald Green (meh), Faried, maybe Rivers?

Also, you have guys like Clark and Hartenstein that can hopefully take a step forward and be contributors. Maybe more high quality vet minimum players will want to come here knowing that there will be plenty of rotation minutes to go around and a chance to compete for a championship with 3 of the better playmakers in the league.

 

I don't wanna hear how James Harden has no help, why isn't Mike playing the bench, why is Mike playing these guys 38 minutes, how Curry/Kawhi/LeBron/Nuggets/Raptors/Bucks have so much more help.

Gordon, Capela & Nene for Butler

Looney signed using portion of the MLE and he becomes our starting center.

House retained for around $2 million.

A bunch of ring chasers sign for the minimum.
