Tell that too Lebron. Guess what it took? Beating the Warriors.

Just comes across as sore losers. Just like complaining about refs one year later. Grananto and Zierlein on 97.5 were bashing Rockets twitter this morning and pretty much summed it up perfectly.

    Lebron embraced both sides though

He was pretty light side when he was younger.

Never experienced a whole organization doing it though.

Yep. If you wait till the finals are over, why don't you include playoffs performance? Lot's of instances that the MVP was embarrassed in the playoffs. It just makes the award that much irrelevant.

I get that they see it that way. They should just say congrats to Giannis and move on though. MVP doesn’t matter. Championships matter at the end of the day.

that is extremely poor taste. harden is way too classy for these fcukers, just imagine other players of his level staying quiet and still giving interviews to these fcukers.

regarding the rockets' tweet, i think it's good to put the truth out there for the record regardless of the haters

As for the OP question, I think it's pretty dumb to do that as an official team tweet. It won't change anything other than gaining more hate. There is supposed to be some dignity as a team especially when the season is over. Just take the high road and move on. Let the talking heads and the fans debate who the MVP should be.

This seems par for the course coming from a franchise that cried for a "fair chance" during the second-round playoff series with the Warriors and sent a memo to the NBA claiming the refs cost them the NBA title in 2018.

Oh, and let's not forget about owner Tilman Fertitta's epic rant after the Rockets' Game 6 loss to the Warriors, in which he said his team should have cut the Warriors' throats in Game 5 when Kevin Durant suffered a strained right calf.

Considering how much losing the Rockets have done over the last few years, it's surprising they haven't figured out how to lose with class.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN. Well Warriors..enjoy your crappy seasons from now on. It was a good 5 years for yall.

frankly, i don't care too much for the award anyway. how many organization nowadays have the balls to even post something like that with all the hate they're gonna receive. i kinda like it now after reading all the boo-boo comments, and it shows just how much softer the league and the fans have gotten. honestly, there's nothing wrong with teams defending they're superstars. and it's not like they said Giannis sucks, cause he doesn't and the award itself is well-deserved. too many fans are "[insert player name here] only fans" as is their right, but for those fans that are fans of the game like myself, i see this just as a way to hype the city and its team.

I'd take one of their championship seasons for our last two decades.

I blame the NBA for knowing long ago who the MVP was and teasing the fans for several months.

Either move the show before the Playoffs or cancel it. Not a fan.

I'm so behind this idea. I'd love to see us get black unis with dark gray letters, numbers and trim.

    Less Skywalker, more Vader.

I like it, but I think they could have grabbed some better numbers to support the case even further.

Honestly, For the people that didn’t vote Harden, What would it have taken for them to vote for Harden?

    36 ppg.
    Led the NBA in deflections.
From worst to 2nd in the West.

    What more must he do?

I think the tweet is more to please Harden than to convince anyone who hasn't already made up their mind on him. If Harden appreciates the tweet and support, then that matters more to the team going forward than what the media and fans think.
