    I think there’s been some serious tension but no where near this crap.

    Sport journalism is shameless. It used to be that if a reporter was caught making up news story, he'd be fired on the spot because his editor would be fired if he didn't.

    Journalists have the responsibility to check their sources. If they aren't sure, they should say that "an uncollaborated source alleged such and such." If they print it like it's fact, they'd better make sure it is true. Last I checked, Yahoo was supposed to be a credible news source, not some kind of National Enquirer type tabloid.

    There’s some truth, I don’t think cp outright demanded a trade though. That many different journalists aren’t all just putting their rep on the line. A lot of smoke

    Truth somewhere in the middle imo

    It doesn't look like that's been the case for awhile. E.g., the various Journolist scandals, Jayson Blair, etc...

    Too bad. Yahoo sports used to have decent reporting. I remember Charles Robinson, among others, breaking many stories that other outlets wouldn't cover in as much detail.
