If we got rid of Chris Paul somehow I would take Darius Garland

How does a rookie help Harden in his prime? He'd have to be a can't miss impact player, and if he's can't miss, how is he falling to four?

Rockets need to gamble on the draft. For years Morey had highly productive players that were drastically underpaid. Most recently it was Capela and Beverly. Right now, we have nobody. With Tillman being a penny pincher about the cap, Rockets need to find value somewhere. Getting a rotational player at roughly 5 or 6 million a season gives the Rockets more options than just dumping 1st rounders every trade deadline. While I'll miss Capela, his skill set is more replaceable than other impact players we have, and he's proven in back to back seasons he can be shut down deep in the playoffs.

Can some of the great minds on Clutchfans tell me who's the Kawhi Leonard here? So i can tell Morey who he has to eventually draft :D

Mitchell averaged 20 as a 13th pick. It’s rare but possible lol

Well, Chris Bosh, Chris Paul, Mike Conley, Westbrook, Tyreke Evans, Dion Waiters, Aaron Gordon, and Kristaps Porzingis are all good to excellent picks number 4 in the last couple of decades. Obviously there are some duds, but, hey, its a good gamble.

Oh, well by all means, trade Chris Paul for the 4th pick then.

Would you trade the #8 pick for Capela?

    Yes but.

Butler needs to be out of the picture completely.

Cam Reddish needs to be available.

New Orleans or Atlanta needs to add a rotation player.

And only then do guys earn the right to say 5 years from now that Morey blew it by passing on him and that they knew all along he'd be a superstar.

Not sure how doable it is, but one thing i'd love to pull off with NOLA if they get those picks is to get one (assuming there's a player we like at that spot) and Moore.

    #8 - no

#8 and #10 - probably not, but could be convinced otherwise. Afterall, two cracks at it is better than one.

#4 - yes. And I don't even know whom I'd pick. Garland, White, Hunter, Culver...? Part of the reason I could be convinced 8 and 10 would be worth it is because there is kind of a big group of next tier guys where any of them could break out and as I noted, two tries is better than one.
