I'm really hoping they don't find any takers.

They are the team that I think would give the Rockets the most trouble.

I wonder what draft compensations though? They already traded their 1st rounders in 2020 and 2022, and 2nd rounders in 2019, 2020, 2021...

There's CF super duper elite gravitational force floor spacer (that doesn't cost $20M/$30M).

Deleted but @KevinOConnorNBA said: If the Bucks dump Snell, they can create about $18 million in cap space before re-signing Middleton, Lopez, and Brogdon. The space could bring in a good player. But it’s a risk. The Bucks have already traded their firsts in 2020 and 2022, and their seconds in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Big part of that cap space shouldn't be used to resign Lopez though? They don't have bird rights for him.

Even more if they sign him with cap space.

Why did they re-sign Bledsoe to that hugeass deal when they knew they had to take care of Middleton and Brogdon (and, now, Lopez)?

Probably cause the cap holds he would've had until resigned would've take away even more cap space.

Who cares, we only play them twice a year. It’s not like the Rockets are gonna make the Finals.

Standard MLE max is 4yr 40.0 million for Lopez, more than enough

Taxpayer MLE max is 3yr 18.0 million.

I was saying that the Bucks can offer him even more than 40M in 4 years if they are able to open up enough cap space. Personally i don't see it since while Ilyasova might be easier to dump (wouldn't be shocked if some teams actually take him without asking for a compensation, that contract is not bad), they have no 1st rounders to dump Snell, unless they move their 2024 unprotected 1st, but i don't see it.

Snell has a PO at $~12mm but only this and next year left on contract. It’s still a risk to me even with multiple firsts. Freak’s only 24 so I feel like those picks would be the Rockets special, mid-round at best, by the time we can use them.

It’s intriguing bc he shoots decently from three (on low shooting though), and he’s got a 7 ft wingspan at 27.

I really hope they lose Brook Lopez. I think he is the *key* to the team's success as it relates to their "defense"
