Girl I'm seeing wants to get out of her car lease, as she can't really afford it now. She only has 4 months left, but the dealer is telling her that she has two pay two months in full to get out of it, which she can't afford, either. Do y'all know of better options she may have to end the lease?

I don't want the car. I'm trying to do her a favor. Certainly someone here has gotten out of a lease before. 2 months up front may be reasonable if she had a year left. But 4 months? That seems too high. (she's paying $900/mo)
I'll be straight up. You're dating stupid. $900 per month payment got to be a high end luxury vehicle but yet can't make payment and living pay check to pay check.
Ya this is exactly my thoughts as well. 900 on a REALLY good lease = ~90,000 car. 900 on a poor lease = maybe a 65,000 car? Maybe an E class?
It's a Merc SUV. She bought it when she was living in Cali and making good money. She moved here and isn't making as much. To be fair, it was a 3 year lease that she only has 4 months left on.
Get a small loan to spread the payment out over a year. Or default on it. There isn't really an option here. No one is gonna take a lease transfer on 4 months and $900/mo.
It wouldn't be worth it to anyone because the transfer fee plus the risk of turning in a car that might have lease fees (dings, scratches etc).
