It's pretty much all on [us] to make a big move. Because, the only other teams that give them any kind of worry West of us are the Clippers and Nuggets. And, they both need to add key pieces to accomplish that feat. This also considering that GSW don't any quality role players...they'll pull some rabbit out of their...

Durant should sue GSW. What an irresponsible decision.

Uh, yeah he will. If it's a torn Achilles as many are suspecting, he'd be insane not to opt into his $31.5 million salary next season. No team, not even the Knicks, would give him anything close to that in a multiyear deal this summer. He'll have to come back from that injury, prove himself, and then try to cash in next summer or possibly the year after that.

Regardless, it completely changes the Warriors next season. A torn Achilles would mean Durant is basically out for most of if not the entire year even if he does opt in and stick around. And ironically it kinda hurts Golden State financially cuz they'd be on the hook for that money and the luxury tax implications while getting nothing from Durant on the court.

What in the GRANT HILL was K.D. Thnking.
Every Doctor that "Cleared him to play" needs their entire asses kicked and sued out of the league
Every fan/player/coach/owner that pressured him to play is a complete *sshole!

Bad move on Warriors staff to push him to play. Isn't that the injury that forced Kobe into retirement?

I think Kobe was gonna retire regardless. He was pushing 40 and had a ton of mileage on that body. Plus the Lakers were dogsh-t anyway and not even playoff contenders much less competing for a title.

What his injury did was make him even worse of a player in his final seasons.

Bob Myers makes sure to mention the multiple doctors and experts that saw Kevin and that it was a "collaborative decision" to let him play before graciously/dramatically asking people to blame him. Then he briefly defends Durant's honor ("He's misunderstood! It's not fair.") before getting back to "the people that cleared him" and defending their honor (they're "good people").

A CYA performance for the ages.

That's why they won...lol. Take the 12 points he scored and Raptors are probably celebrating now. The Raptors in 6.
