Lakers package is good. Ball and kuzma have 3 more years rookie contracts and 4th pick is great to me. Ingram and ball are 21years old. Suns and bulls offer 4 young players for Paul are comparable to Lakers offer. Lauri is better than all Lakers youngs,
Capela Tucker Gordon First round picks is real close to the Lakers offer of Kuzma and the farm...., however the veteran rockets offer would be a better influence to Zion
I doubt we can get Davis, but maybe get involved as a third team,,, Would be nice if somehow we can get Kuzma here
That would probably give us the chance to be in play i guess, also depending on the protections on the picks, but damn, that's a lot to give up, especially for a potential rental, if Davis bolts we would be forced to trade Harden and rebuild.
1. Lakers receive: Anthony Davis Pelicans receive: #4 Lonzo Ball Brandon Ingram Kyle Kuzma 2. Suns receive: Jrue Holiday Pelicans receive: Clint Capela #6 Houston receive: TJ Warren Kyle Kuzma Jahlil Okafor Phoenix #32 New Orleans now have #1, #4 and #6 in this year's draft as well as Ball and Ingram to rebuild. They could go many different ways with #4 and #6 but most importantly they should be locked at the 5 (Capela), 4 (Zion), and maybe even the 3 (Ingram) position. They could draft Culver at #4 and the BPA at #6. Houston has now restocked their cupboard with wing players in Warren and Kuzma, gets a potential backup big man as a throw-away piece in Okafor and a high 2nd Rounder. Houston can now focus its efforts on getting someone that can replace Capela with their MLE. Let's say the NBA gods love us and Brook Lopez takes our MLE. Lopez/Okafor Tucker Warren/Kuzma Harden/Gordon Paul Or if you're wanting more of the Alley Oop variety, let's pencil in DeAndre at the 5 Jordan/Okafor Tucker Warren/Kuzma Harden/Gordon Paul Or we take a flyer on Wille Cauley-Stein at the 5 at the vet minimum and hope that Rivers takes a 1 year MLE deal Cauley-Stein/Okafor Tucker Warren/Kuzma Harden/Gordon Paul/Rivers
I disagree that they'll be worse in this scenario given the fact that we have more / better wing players to play small ball with and I'm thinking you can trade a player twice as long as the player wasn't just signed to an NBA contract. There are examples of players getting traded multiple times. Luke Ridnour got traded 4 times in a span of one week https://www.sbnation.com/lookit/201...een-traded-3-times-since-he-woke-up-yesterday
Source? Also, 55 wins with a team comprised of mostly rookies and young players in the West is a bit......optimistic? Also, I dig the shorthand messages. Makes it look cryptic/insiderish
They swept blazers last year, pelicans fans said they target 55 wins on lotto day. I’d say they should target playoffs, it’s reasonable.
I posted this in the random trade thread but I’ll repost it here. I’m pretty sure this works if LA renounces all of their cap holds and open up all of their potential cap space. LA IN: CP3 & AD NOP IN: Capela, Ball, Ingram, Kuzma, LA 2019 first, LA 2021 first, Houston 2020 first PHI IN: Gordon & Nene HOU IN: Holiday & Butler Hopefully sign Rivers with MLE and Shump with BR. Look to sign a center like McGee or DJ. Sign Faried for the vet min. Fill out the roster with a vet min 3/4. And finally hope that Clark and Hartenstein keep developing. Holiday/Rivers Harden/Shumpert Butler/vet min PJ/vet min/Clark DJ/Faried/Hartenstein
She's going to do whatever David Griffin tells her to do. She knows the franchise was the joke of the league and that he's the cleanup guy New Orleans needs. Unfortunately, that means Anthony Davis is going to the Lakers and he'll realize his dream of playing with his idol even though he's going to become Heat Bosh.
