Bucks, the second team to embrace Moreyball the most, also choking in the Playoffs

Don’t tell me it’s a Giannis thing when we have Harden yet our offense is still underwhelming in the postseason.

Face it in order to have consistent offense in the playoffs your system needs greater variety. It can’t always be spamming the same things over and over again. It has not worked for years now.

Just do something different. Off ball cutting, player movement, try some post ups, mid range etc. add VARIETY!

As soon as Milwaukee lost I knew someone was going to make this thread, I just didn't know who.

I said to add more variety such as mid range I was attacked by cf. You have to be tricky and unpredictable. This is how war is won.

Giannis deserves a lot of criticism.... same with Coach Bud.

Giannis was out played by Kawhi and a role player.

Really hoping Leonard resigns with the Raptors... really good fan base...

As good as Kawhi is, the Raps had other players to rely on and some more actions/motions to make better use of their ancillary players. We need better players and a system that can maximize our supporting cast. Harden will be great in any system he plays, the "others" won't.

Too bad it wasn’t our offense that failed. It was our defense.

Bucks are a bunch of role players playing Moreyball.

don’t tell u it’s a Giannis thing when it absolutely is...lmao, yeah, ok...

Giannis is limited AF and is their best player...I said it before to some who wanted to trade Harden for Giannis...a perimeter guy who can’t make a jumper isn’t leading a team to a title

teams aren’t gonna let him just bully ball his way to a championship...Toronto put the clamps on him and Kawhi was incredible, that’s why they lost

if Milwaukee had made the finals, GS would’ve locked his ass up and made Giannis look even more suspect than Toronto did

I'd hardly call losing in 6 in your first spotlight playoff appearance for most players to a great veteran team choking. They'll be back. I was rooting for the Raptors, but the Bucks certainly look like the future of the East if they can retain their players or at least acquire some Morey Ball caliber guys if players walk.

Raptors are bottom 6 in mid range despite having one of the best mid range shooters in the game. Kawhi's mid range game is FAR superior to Harden's. CP3 has the green light to shoot it, but took a nose dive in efficiency and confidence.

Also, Giannis is a 24 year who just played his first serious game ever. He will be fine. He is clearly going to be able to hit the 3 in the future. He's in that place where he's learning when to force things and when to trust his teammates.

    People be stretchin'.

The raptors traded for kawhi to get away from playing iso ball, according Ujiri.

And the team that has been to the finals 4 straight years shoots the 2nd most midrange despite being the greatest 3 pt shooting team of all time. And it’s not because they’re stupid.

In fairness, the Warriors have arguably one of, if not the greatest mid-range shooter ever, in Kevin Durant. He's head and shoulders above everyone in the league who shoots remotely close to as many midrange shots as he does. To add to that, Klay Thompson is elite from midrange and Curry is almost as good as Klay. That team is filled with elite shooters, period.

Sorry... the Raptors traded Demar Derozan for Kawhi Leonard in order to get away from iso ball? That was the purpose of the trade?

The Warriors are not a better offensive team than us, and their 3rd best scorer is getting maxed out on the open market this summer. They are underachieving offensively. We do not have the roster to be a top offensive team. We should be a top 5 offensive team in the playoffs, and we are at least that.

I really do believe this current Warriors team would shatter efficiency records if they embraced our shot selection.
