"Mike D'Antoni cited both the slow start (11-14) and Paul George's shot on finale night as factors that cost the #Rockets in the postseason."

But I thought Melo was a no-risk signing?

    lulz...

Never underestimate Melo and his ability to bring teams down.

Also, here we go with Morey and blabbering about James Harden once again...about a week after getting kicked out of playoffs. The man needs to shut up!

    Same BS different off season.

Also Harden isn't a top 3 player in the world during the post season.

    Slow start
Paul George shot aka the last choke job of the regular season
...and about 8-9-10 other bad losses and choke jobs throughout the season

1st round, 2nd round, Conference Finals, doesn't matter. You would have lost the Warriors anyways.

Not sure what George's shot has to do with anything. Capela would've still played like a*** and we still would have length/rebounding issues against GS, it would just be in the WCF instead of the semifinals.

Devil's advocate: Clint being hit with two viruses against Utah means that missing the Warriors until the conference finals might have helped him- and the team- play better. The margin was small, so anything would have helped and possibly might have made the difference.

Not necessarily. Having home court advantage and going up 2-0 and starting 0-2 is not the same. We were always playing from behind once we went down 0-2.

All the games were close with team playing on home court winning on their court in each but one game. Without HCA, all Warriors had to do was break us once on our home court and the series is over, or not break even once and they still play on their court in game 7. WIth HCA, we could afford to lose one game at home and have a better margin of error. We didnt have that margin of error and we paid for it.

Not saying that's a guaranteed win but having home court advantage is better than not having HCA and would have given us better odds.

Not a doctor so can't really comment but I have thought of this. But he himself had 16 pts 10 reb in Game 5 against the Jazz and said after the game that he felt good and wanted the Warriors in the next round.

So idk but if he was still feeling ill but he was talking a lot of sh**

Didn't realize the "best player in the world" in a given year needed everything around him to be perfect. Certainly wasnt true of Hakeem

You saw the Rox before Horry switched to PF the 2nd time around?

You need to get it right.

    Sidebar: Horry would be A M A Z I N G for the current team

I love Hakeem as much as anybody but he didnt go against a team with 4 star players.

LeBron has been the best player on the planet for a long time... even he has been destroyed by the Warriors.

No doubt about that, but I believe a prime Hakeem plus Harden and Chris Paul would have led us to a victory over the 4 all stars of GS.

See what I mean that's like him thinking back in the day all he had to do was beat the Lakers or Spurs when he was with Phoenix. This guy's failure to win by not focussing on a championship is a problem
