I wouldn't mind Rubio on a cheap deal. He is an excellent defender and a good floor general. Ideal backup PG.
"There are a thousand possibilities, excluding the teams that have a starting point guard under contract who will remain there. Like Houston or Golden State. Then there’s Boston where you still don’t know if Kyrie Irving will be there. Or Charlotte with Kemba Walker. Things really don’t depend on you but on the other players. For example, if Kyrie Irving went to Utah, this wouldn’t be a possibility for me anymore. In the end, they choose first." Sounds like he wants to start, which is a.... wait for it.... non-starter https://www.eurohoops.net/en/eurole...agency-i-want-to-win-a-ring-as-a-protagonist/
Same here, i was actually slightly impressed by him against us in the playoffs, he played better than expected and was probably Utah best player in the series. While i'm not high on him as a starter, especially here, coming off the bench i would take him in a heart beat. Too bad it seems like he wants to win being a protagonist and start...
I guess they want to try something different there, wouldn't be shocked to see them use Mitchell as a pg and sign a SG like Danny Green.
It's easy to look at the plays he made and say he was good against us. That completely ignores all of the plays the team couldn't make because the interior was clogged all to hell.
Define couldn’t miss. 42/20/85 against us in the playoffs. Essentially his same crappy efficiency he had all year.
P.J Tucker strategy to guard Ricky Rubio, P.J backs off Ricky, Here Ricky a wide open 3 for you, Ricky is like thanks, bricks it. P.J gets a rebound to end the game. Even a corner 3 by Ricky, bricks it
