Now that we know all the 7 picks are, how do you grade this year's class? I know it's too early and this is not a judgement on the draft. Just a gauge of how you're feeling. Feel free to explain why you feel the way you do.

1 (23) Tytus Howard Alabama State OT
2 (22) Lonnie Johnson Jr. Kentucky CB
2 (23) Max Scharping Northern Illinois OT
3 (22) Kahale Warring San Diego State TE
5 (23) Charles Omenihu Texas DE
6 (22) Xavier Crawford Central Michigan CB
    7 (6) Cullen Gillaspia Texas A&M RB

I feel a lot better about it than I do the mock draft threads here.

You prefer Tytus Howard, Lonnie Johnson, and Sharping over Dillard, Julian Love and Justin Layne?

Not too excited. Seems like we drafted a bunch of projects.

I wish we got more of a sure thing out of our first round pick. Tytus scares me -- rooting for him obviously but he's universally regarded as a project from a small school. Lonnie Johnson Jr has great measurables but no track record of success. Scharping seems solid - good pick. Warring is another project TE - barf. I like Omenihu and Crawford - but they are late round flyers. I have no clue why we used a draft pick on Gillespia - pure charity.

This is one of those classes that is frustrating because it will take years to begin to grade it because of the development projects.

    C+ grade.

    GOOD DAY

Probably the most "meh" I've ever been after a draft. I'm not really excited about any of these guys.

Honestly no idea. We'll see what BOB and his handpicked coaches can do with them.

I'm optimistic but I don't have my hopes up.

I’m biased by the fact that I really know very little about every player we drafted and have read pretty critical reviews of our picks by most websites. From what the interwebz says we reached in many rounds. So combining that with my dislike of BOB I went with the C-

So, to those of you defending us not spending our cap room signing lineman to protect DW by saying it was gonna be addressed in the draft, how do you feel now? I don’t feel good...

No, I thought mock drafts were judged on their accuracy. I was just pointing out the incredible inaccuracy.

The value of a draft class is not known for a few seasons; however, on the surface, this one looks like a dud. Too many "maybes" and not enough "sure things."

After the JJ draft I stopped getting myself worked up over the players I think they should take... not that I watch enough college ball to have an opinion anyway.

That said it's frustrating to watch them get consistently traded immediately ahead of in the first. It seems like it happens nearly every year. Getting talent from several smaller schools high in the draft also doesn't impress me on draft weekend, especially when it comes to an offensive line that isn't looking for just one player.

Rick Smith would draft circles around Brian Gaine.
