From what I heard, a la space jam, James Harden will try to briefly give his basketball powers to Lou Williams for Lou to go off on them. I'm just hoping Lou remembers to return them when their done.

Art of War my brotha. Muhammad Ali waged psychological warfare against his opponents and defeated them before they stepped foot in the ring.

    THIS ^^^^^^

At least the fans think its already working, and we haven't even done it yet.

Plus, it likely gets into the Worriers heads, too...thinking about us and not the Clips.

to paraphrase....it don't get to look any better than this!

If they feel disrespected by their old team, they might play harder just to stick it to us. Which would be great.

I heard Clanton on the radio yesterday mentioning to Morey that the team should go eat at Ayesha's restaurant during the game haha

Honestly the Rockets are doing whats best for them to prepare. If the Warriors win tonight - and they are favored to - the Rockets wait till Saturday to Fly to CA and have less than 24 hours to adjust to the time difference and prepare? That doesn't help anyone but GS. This way the Rockets are already used to the time difference and will be more focused on just the task at hand. If the series go 7 then they are in the bay for a few extra days doing the same thing. If the Clippers win - well its going to be easier to adjust back to Central time going back home and if anything the Rockets basically would have had a small mini-camp in the playoffs which can never hurt.

Who are we kidding...the clippers will lose...and the Rockets call for going to Oakland Friday all of a sudden seems like a genius call when the Rockets win a boring one in the Oracle.

It's a practical matter: if there is a game Sunday, they gonna fly to CA on Saturday morning? I do think it bothers the Warriors. They've got two opponents lined up right now.

I personally love to smack talk this way: "You got this! Hurry up and win! This is so easy for you. It's a lock!"

Now watching the game live, why not? Would that be considered bad sportsmanship or break a code?

It's simple. Instead of waiting in Houston and having to grab a flight tomorrow if the Warriors win thus making them sleep deprived & jetlagged for a 12:30pm Game 1 potentially - they fly now and stay local just in case warriors win. If not no problem, they fly home to play Clippers.

Either way they are ensuring they are not jet lagged for game 1

Happens in college all the time during the tournament. Besides, don't want your next opponent watching your 1st round games? Take care of business next time.

Pretty sure CP3 can draw a play for a Clippers squad during a timeout too.
