For all you casino goers out there, has anyone ever been out to Biloxi? I received an offer from Mlife properties for flight and 3 days 2 nights and $150 in free play for $100. It is for a specific weekend in May, but it sounds like a good deal. I'm pretty sure its not a time share thing either.

I see they have a Hard Rock, Harrahs, and Golden Nugget around the area as well.

I'll probably take it. Is there any "must see's" or "must do's" I should know about?

After calling and speaking to someone, I'ts legit and is NOT a time share scam. And of all the things in the world you could call me...DO NOT CALL ME LOU!!! In addition, it's 4 days and 3 nights, AND it's $300 in free play. Not bad. I can't wait to hit that place!

That's a good deal. Take it. The casinos are similar to what you find in Lake Charles.

its actually a fairly nice casino. also pretty much next to a beach. I didn't explore outside of the casino but seemed to be a good amount of things in the surrounding area. By May the weather should be pretty nice

Pretty good deal you posted if you're going to take advantage of it. Good luck man

I went there a long time ago. Had a good time and actually went to a Jay Leno show there. It’s a pretty decent Casino. This was 12 years ago. So don’t know how it is now.

That's awesome! Playing a craps table without knowing how to play craps would have to be akin to letting your dog make stock market picks.

Everybody gotta learn somehow, and it is fun as hell.

If I had not been shitface drunk and playing with house money I wouldve stayed far away from the craps table lol it was a fun experience tho.

Pro tip: watch the table(s, no harm in walking away to another), find the guy or 2 who obviously know what they are doing, and then just follow their lead with smaller bets. If the dice get hot, well.... Easiest way to learn.

Doesn't matter what someone on the phone told you....what's in the fine print of the offer? Of course, even if you have to sit through a 2-3 hour presentation, it may be when it to you.

I once got into a dispute there with the help over not cleaning out two ash trays in a timely fashion at my Caribbean Stud table. Needless to say, they lost my business that night. I doubt they have recovered financially or psychologically from that event.

    GOOD DAY

Update on this trip. First off, it was a great deal and will do it again if I get another offer.

We flew out of Corpus Friday at 11:00 am and landed at Gulfport at 1pm. Hopped on a charter bus and after a 10 minute ride, got our itinerary in the drop off lobby desk and were immediately in the casino. There was complimentary luggage drop off in our room, so we didn't have to worry about hauling our bags around. The casino was really nice and had a good variety of tables and slots. The crowd was definitely more conservative and mature...It felt like Reno more than Vegas. The casino was very clean. I'll get to the buffet in a bit, but it was the best buffet I have ever eaten at.

I didn't play any tables, but they were always busy and everyone looked pretty happy. The slots on the first day for me were pretty tight and I dropped $400 before I closed my wallet and made up my money in complimentary drinks. My GF however finished about $200 up on the night so I figured it was just my crappy luck. We hit the buffet around 6 pm and they were featuring Crawdads, and we went to town. Fresh mudbugs were seasoned great and they were constantly refreshing them. The other foods were all spot on and served warm and fresh. I sampled a bit of everything from General Tso Chicken which was great to basic proteins (roast beef, prime rib) which were ok. Fried chicken was amazing, and the peel and eat shrimp were hearty, cold, and fresh. I left pleasantly surprised and only paid $28.00 total since i used a BOGO from the MyVegas Slots rewards.

Second night, got out of the room around 2pm and walked to the Hard Rock Casino, which pretty much sucked balls. The Hard Rock part of it was fine, but the casino seemed dated and the slots played tight. We didn't stay there long, but they do have a Ruth's Chris there. More on that in a bit. We left HR and walked the beach to get to Harrah's which was REALLY dissapointing. It was really dated and had an elderly crowd there. We left pretty quickly and walked over to Golden Nugget which felt a lot like the GN in Vegas. It didn't have the shark pool of course, but the setup was about the same. The slots payed decent, but we had one more stop which was The Palace. This casino was smoke/vape free and seemed much newer. It was a little smaller, but the slots were pretty lose there. It was extremely clean and pleasant. Comp drinks service was plentiful and quick. They had comp giveaways every half hour and we found ourselves staying in there a few hours without realizing it. Ubered back to the Beau because we didn't feel like the 1.4 mile walk back at 1 in the morning. We headed to the bar to play some video poker and have a few drinks before going back to the room and the musician that played at the bar sat right next to me and hit a royal flush, but he wasn't playing the progressive max bet. Crazy stuff.

The last day, we were up at 2, and out of the room at 3:30 because we had a reservation at Ruth's Chris at the Hard Rock Casino for early dinner. Damn if that wasn't one of the best ribeye and lobster tails I'd ever had. Great food, service, and ambiance like always at Ruth's Chris. After dinner, we walked back to the Beau and played out the rest of the night there. That night, I made up some ground from the first night. We were going to pull an all nighter since we had to load onto the bus at 7 am to catch the 9 am flight home, but when the clock struck the witching hour, I couldn't take it and decided to limp back to the room.

I have to say I loved this weekend getaway. I hope I get more offers from here, because I'll surely take them. I took $1500 and was prepared to come home with nothing, but only lost about $300 overall. Of course, I wanted to hit a jackpot, but that's not a terrible loss when playing slots. Hell, our dinner cost about what I lost.

If anyone gets the chance for one of these offers, I highly recommend taking the offer. There was no time share or any catch. Just a great time at a great price!!!!

I know that when it was built it was supposed to be a "Bellagio on the gulf" type experience. I've heard good things. Looks like you had a good time.

    Not a timeshare if it's a co-operative real estate investment opportunity. ;)
