My 3 y/o had two ear infections AND pink eye and still seemed to have a lot of energy. So I think Clint can tough it out.

your 3 y/o >>>>>> Clint and Faried combined (Faried played like a scrub too last night in the little PT he did get).

    Make it happen Morey!

In all seriousness tho, If Clint wasn't being productive, wouldnt have hurt to try Nene or heck, even Hartenstein. Hart's not ready, but couldnt have been worse than Clint and Faried, could it?

You dun screw with respiratory illnesses, because breathing is really important.

If he can't get air, that is a complication that you dun want to have. Sometimes even a danger to one's life.

    Connects lungs and the brain.

If it really was life-threatening, the medical staff would have held him out. Capela probably would have also taken himself out, if it got to that point.

I did not say life threatening at the point of playing but many conditions have effect longer term.

There is a reason why a lot of athletes have conditions when they retire and their body is no longer withstanding the intensity of a Pro career.

You dun know until you run more tests. And every body type is different.

And yes, I think a big man is more susceptible to that, they take a beating on a weekly or daily basis.

Yes, I still think the Altitude is not something you screw with.

People here dun see an athlete's life, all they see is what plays out on the Court and the charities they attend.

    And what they tweet.

The Kawhi and Pop situation can show you that there is a disconnect between even the coach and his player on medical issues.

    And Keith Jones......

I think it would have been worth trying them out, I mean the bench had 5 points and Capela is sick

    Mike D'Antoni wouldn't coach with a virus.

I agree and it has clearly affected him. Really hope he’s on the mend, he’s vital to the team’s success.

C'mon, Clint's an adult. If he's unable to play, it's up to him to let the coaching staff know.

Where MDA went wrong was to continue to play Capela last night after he'd proven to be ineffective.
