Is Dan Tony just gonna ignore the Handsome Kenneth Faried?

    Thank you. they killed us on the boards and in the paint last night. So you play Manimal 5 minutes? wtf?

    If they outrebound us like that again, they've got a good shot to win again.

    Did you watch him play? He was a clueless matador on defense....almost escorting Jazz players to the hole with ZERO rim protection or defensive awareness. I generally like Faried, but I was screaming at him while watching last night. (Note: there is ZERO excuse for not trying Nene and/or giving Faried another go in the second half after some corrective coaching at half-time).

    When Capela is having a bad game, what do you do? Small ball, and get killed on the board.

    We'll forget about this after we knock these guys off at home, because no other team has a Gobert. But, the Bucks are long enough to give us the exact same issues, if we were to make it that far. Something that would come up again...

    I'm not gonna say that Faried plays good defense. But he provides energy and rebounding. we needed both last night.

    Agreed. He was unbelievably bad in his minutes yesterday. Nene probably should have been used.

    he should be ignored if he looked the way he did last night. The same goes for House when he has these complete duds.

    but this just opens the door for nene and shump in future games so they just need to stay ready

    Faried is dogshit on defense. Yes he brings it offensively and on the boards but he really needs to work on a 3pt shot in the off-season, if he can he'd be a good 4 for us.

    If anything, with Capela being clearly sick, Nene should've gotten minutes. I mean weren't we saving him all season so he can play big minutes for us in the playoffs? If D'antoni isn't going to use Nene then Morey seriously needs to find us a tough backup big this off-season.

    Surprisingly, Rivers, out of the three players battling for our MLE next year, is playing the best.

    I thought it would be House then Faried then Rivers.

    Pick n roll with Faried and catch him for a few lobs and he will defend and rebound better. You can't make a man play as a janitor (clean up man) for iso ball and ill advised 3's and think he is going to have success. Plus Faried has to be adequately prepared to handle that he is being strategically isolated on by he Utah Offense. Thats Coaching but you have to let guys get some feel for the game. Just play him with Capela

    1. Derrick "Sexual" Favors killed us even worse than Go Bear did.

    2. Not that Faried is perfect, but he has been useful depite his flaws before. It just seems that coach's reaction to adversity is almost always shrinking the bench. The small lineup worked for a little while, but ran out of steam.

    We haven't had a "corrective coach" for a long, long time.

    We can certainly exclude McHale: CLAP CLAP! "Run! Play harder!" CLAP CLAP! "Ball's getting sticky!" CLAP CLAP!

    Dan Tony: "We just missed shots and they were makin' theirs." (single-shoulder shrug) "Hat's off to them...."

    Why not Capela at the 5 and Faried at the 4 especially if they're going Gobert/Favors combo? MDA tried it out a few times in the season and if there's any team we should do this against it should be the Jazz.

    I know it's not the answer you want to hear , but what do you expect at this point ? I think MDA's tendency to shrink the rotation and default to playing small is a weakness , but I don't expect him to change up his strategy at this point .

    Farried was getting owned last night . For an energy guy , he certainly didn't bring any .

    I thought CP3 , James , and Eric did enough for us to win ... but we literally got nothing else outside of a few PJ 3's (who IMO had a very bad game )

    When you cant snag a defensive rebound to save your life in the 2nd half then maybe just maybe you might want to bring in your backup BIGS (Nene/Fareid) .. as bad as the guys shot the ball and defended I felt that the matchups were not in ROX favor last night with the Tuckwagon lineup ESPECIALLY when the 3 ball is not falling. Dan Tony needs to be more aware.

    Also what the **** is wrong with Danuel "BRICK" House? Man talk about forgetting how to shoot the last 2 games.
