    @Clutch

    you mentioned rubio's statement about keeping harden off the line and him needing 26 shot attempts for 29 points. but harden was clearly tackled on multiple floater drives, and fouled by rubio himself on an early 3. both worrell and bullard did bring this up during the game. they also brought up that harden didn't get his first FT until the end of the 3rd Q. he got 3 FT's total and the FT disparity was 27-12 -- that with more than half of our points coming in the paint. if you recall, john goble was also officiating the last time harden didn't get a FT attempt until the end of the 3rd Q.... at the bucks.

    neither you or the guest brought up the FTs and i'm just wondering if the players/coaches also don't see anything here?

    Great pod! Love the statement that MK makes about CP3 being a great in-game "coach" that may play a part in shaping his in-game decision-making and counter adjustments to Harden. As a tangent, would love for more insight on this primarily in their interviews. With respect to that post-game interview with CP leaving facetiously, all those questions directed to Harden can easily be directed to CP on how he views adjustments to Harden.

    I feel like there's an untold story where CP is sharing what it has been like to co-lead the team alongside Harden, how Harden has grown as a leader, how he views his role as a leader different from what Harden brings to the table. In all honesty, does CP see anything areas in Harden's game where he can improve? How has he and Harden kept each other accountable, if at all? With the league being so star-studded, co-leadership stories aren't talked about enough.

    Oh my, what a great take. Love this (paraphrase): "MVP award has become in many ways an advanced most improved player award." Never heard it described that way but 100% accurate.

    Finally got to listen to the podcast, @Clutch, and have to say that MK was on fire. Loved his takes on the game, on the chances of Harden winning a second MVP (he should) and how BB historians will view this season's MVP vote if he doesn't win it, as well as how social media's impact on the MVP race, and so much more related to the NBA, has grown tremendously. Like you, I agreed with every bit of it. You were excellent, as usual (and it's been a long time since the last one - don't be a "stranger!"), but as "the host" of the podcast, you gave free reign to MK and that was a great decision. Thanks so much, and look forward to the next one!
