That's surprisingly articulate reporting by Joe Ingles.

Clicked on the thread thinking it's another one of "Tell me how we can defend the Jazz."

Ended up being a "Tell me how we can defend the Rockets."

I’ve been saying this for years and he acknowledged that Harden is the best pick and player ever.

As somebody who always dreaded facing the Jazz during the YaoMac era its refreshing to see the Jazz fans now dreading to face the Rockets lol

But the Jazz lowkey have a kot of good pieces Gobert and Mitchell are a very solid core for them and they have a crap ton of tall and lengthy dudes. Just need a lockdown shooter like EG to replace Wicky Wubio and they will be set.

Utah’s gimmick defense was so laughable last night, and it was a surprise coming from someone like Snyder

seriously, that defense was a joke

u want to force Harden right so badly and shade his left hand so hard that u allow him to blow by with ease and then all of the sudden the ball is in his left hand with a wide open lane to the rim and a 2 on 1 with him and Capela against Gobert...and if any defender tries to help, he could kick it out for a wide open corner three

that was ridiculous...a scheme that garbage is something u might see in high school

Utah, u ain’t Milwaukeee, and even with Milwaukee, the Rockets were straight up bricking WIDE OPEN shots

So I went to the Reedit Utah Jazz thread, and many of those Jazz fans really blame Denver for Jazz - Rockets matchup. lol

No the series is not over....

Rockets have to play GS in the second round...

I know it hurts when you have to root for Something that has no chance....

This guy gets to the root of Utah’s big issue- they don’t have the scoring punch they need.

In the modern NBA, you need to have a fluid, fast run and gun offense and Classic big men are marginalized by the modern rules. That means centers like Gobert, while interior defensive beasts, don’t really mean too much any more. The best way to capitalize on a dominant interior big man these days is to have great passers who can find him down low, like we do with Capela.

Utah needs to prioritize signing shooters in the offseason. Of course, I hope they don’t, because F the Jazz forever.
