Funny you never hear about the guy on Clutch Fans especially since he played for 3 seasons with the Rockets but this is a guy that played 19 years in the NBA and then made a smooth transition into the coaching ranks as an assistant and now is good enough to interview for head coaching spots. Great college career as well along with being one of the first players to get a 100M players contract.
Mediocre or subpar at everything except a dead eye mid range shot that was automatic. He definitely doesn't fit on our current team since we don't do the mid-range, and his style of play lends me to think that with the same mindset he will not be a good head coach- however, I could be wrong, I don't know what his current philosophy is.
He wasn't a Rockets legend but how does a guy most say was a bad contract and mediocre at everything besides a mid-range catch and shoot jumper last 19 years in the league when poor Melo can't even catch a wiff for minimum deal with that same skill set.
