Rockets should Trade Morey and CP3 to LA

    Morey will be the main asset, as well as some picks. Get CP3's contract out of here. Lebron gets one max player and they can use the picks in the AD pursuit. Rockets should just get Josh Hart and Ingram and whatever cap space fillers.
    I love Morey ball but Harden's prime can't be wasted.

    some of the posts and threads on here are just so nonsensical...this thread is lower quality than a @BigBum thread, and that’s hard to do

    That said, I won't be so harsh on you as the others. If the Rockets flame out, and the Lakers are willing to do CP3 for Kuzma and Ingram into their cap space, yeah, I'd do that. You wouldn't be saving so much money that you'd have a max slot available or anything, but you'd get enough under the cap to make a decent addition after that. I'm mixed on how valuable any of the Lakers young players are. They are so inconsistent, and while accumulating stats have yet to learn how to play winning basketball. I have no doubt they'd be better maximized in the Rockets system.

    You lose a "second star", but CP3 has yet to be that, really. He has yet to play more than 70% of a season with the Rockets, didn't make it through one playoffs, and even when healthy this year, overall put in an under 20 PER.

    At the end of the day, the Lakers aren't doing that anyway.
