Yankees and Astros have had similar trajectories so this season. Losing their first two series and sweeping their most recent. Injury bug has hit them hard and early though. JV is going to throw some fire tonight. I expect a "boring" win. Then, I'll turn it over to CBS and watch my Red Raiders capture their first National Championship since Sheryl Swoopes won it for the ladies in 1993. LET'S GOOOOOOOO!
I'm a League city native, now living in Albany NY. I have converted my wife but father in law is a Die Hard Yankees fan. I switched his Bourbon for his Manhattans from Makers Mark to Old Crow for the series. Eat that Yankee lover. The game will be blacked out on ESPN, so i have to sit through those insufferable idiots on YES Network to watch the game together. Or i can slink upstairs to watch on MLB at bat.
Nice. It'll be good to have an extra guy who can throw multiple innings. Feels like Josh James already got a lot of usage. I'd trust Peacock to soak up a high leverage multi-inning outing better than Framber.
For such a professional hitter Brantley sure does roll over a bunch of balls. Not hating just an observation.
