Is there any really reason to go after Thanos at this point? He's done what he set out to do, unless he has more evil planned.
I think they want to undo what Thanos did and that means having to deal with Thanos. Further more, even if that is not true, you just don't let the bad guy go because he has already killed all the people he wanted to kill .

If they fix everything but his left hand he can just sit back and snap again. Like a kid kicking over ant hills lol Read how they’ve been deceptive before with previews. So I’m trying to trust my gut more than my eyes. They didn’t show hulk or black panther, two probably relatively important pieces to the puzzle. No Dr. Strange or vision, two characters literally powered up by infinity stones no mention unless I missed something. Antmans situation is an obvious plot point they sort of alluded to him being back from his antman 2 post credit situation.. Hawkeye/ronin with black widow looking betrayed or at least very solemn. No scarlet witch. No GotG. They really focus in on Stark, Cap, and Thor. I feel like stark and cap really might die but I also feel like they might not really defeat thanos or be able to restore everything. The whole phase 3 end thing, maybe thanos really did fk up the universe and they just have to find a way To move on for real. Seemed like a pretty key take away from the trailer anyway. Nothing about Marvel even though it’s pretty obvious she’s going to be a big weapon against thanos. No mention of Spider-Man? So they really pulled some fkn hype out of not much lol
Agreed. He seemed remorseful at the end of part 1. I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt. Time for everyone to move on. Real heroes dont take revenge.
Hold up.....do you know how many sequels Thanos' victory would kill along with their lead characters? You have to undo Thanos to undo his cull-the-universe finger-snap. I mean, Spider-man already has a sequel on deck. I doubt Tony Stark and Nebula glued together all the spidey ashes and put Humpty Dumpty back together. I guess "The Avengers Strike Back" or "Return of the Avengers" would have been appropriate titles for the script-in-progress for "Endgame".
But he would just wind time back with the green one and try it again. If he were smart, hed keep doing it til Captain Marvel and Thor was dusted too. What a sucker.
Was Thanos snap random? He has the power to do whatever he wants. maybe he decided he wanted those avengers alive for some grand purpose of finally killing off the red skull and getting some action with death, or something like that. He's a genius right. He could of mindwiped them all, and live a good life. He didn't. So what is his end game.
