Give the Bucks credit. Excellent defensive gamelan. They pressured two of the best ball handlers in the game and made them uncomfortable all game to the point that our offense looked discombobulated. They put Rockets in position to take mid range shots, something they are not used to, and the offense went out of sync. Rockets were simply out coached and outplayed today. What's concerning is that this game gives other teams ideas as to how to defend Harden and the Rockets. Rockets HAVE to mix in some mid range offense to keep the defense off-balance. The main reason Bucks defensive plan worked was because they could predict what the Rockets would do and stayed one step ahead. Some mid range game sprinkled in will keep the defense off-balance and also not put so much pressure on the scrubs to make 3s all game.
They did pressure, but we gifted them that win. We missed too many open looks, and we also gifted them 10 easy points in the first half from turnovers. This just proves that Giannis has great support around him and Harden doesn't.
bs we made inexplicable boneheaded plays in the 2nd qtr that gave wings to the bucks and were airballing(!?) wide open 3pters the rest of the game
People were questioning them because they are in the East. They will win 60+ games or close to it, no weak team is doing that feat.
How many wide open three's did the Rockets miss? Harden did what he was supposed to with that kind of defense, he penetrated and got his teammates open 3 point looks. Team failed him tonight. I'm so sick of SHump as a player.
If giving up wide open corner 3’s that players in the NIT tourney would make mixed with outrageously bias officiating is good defense then so be it.
Well, if we are air balling 3s then maybe more the reason that we manufacture points other ways to get ourselves back in the rhythm. Its not like its unprecedented. We did go 0-27 last year lol. Also 3 point shots when the offense is running smoothly is not the same as 3 point shot when offense is all over the place, even if wide open. Rhythm matters and so does the added pressure of a whole bunch of bricks.
Rox missed a lot of open shots. All the Bucks did was dare the others outside of Harden to beat them tonight which worked.
Well Chumpert sucks. That's not news. I am LOLing at all the people here that think he is going to be the difference maker in the playoffs after laying a big fat egg in the regular season. Teams are practically playing off of him on offense and he does not have the lateral movement anymore to stay relevant defensively.
