Predicted this years ago, the right is so wired up and crazy, though can't really blame them. It's the media and personalities like Sam Harris who have twisted the minds of people to be hateful without realizing it.

I was going to start a thread on it, but I didn't want to. I saw 2 videos of him doing the shooting. It was a horrific. It looked like a video game. Women, children, men, all defenseless and huddled in the corners and he just slaughtered them and kept firing into their bodies and firing head shots to make sure they were dead. One guy tried to fight back but he was killed immediately. If anyone wants to see it you can still find it but I don't recommend watching it. Here's his manifesto. He sounds perfectly coherent and he knew exactly what he was doing with this.
To understand why he did it and his rationalizations. He was calculated and viewed these people as invaders. Also, one of his stated goals was to specifically cause discord in the US between the right and left over gun laws. He also was not an anti-Semite and he was not a Trump supporter, but he was an overt white nationalist. This was a disgusting act of terrorism, but we can't simply turn our eyes from it and ignore the motivations behind the terrorist.
It's hard to characterize him as a right wing crazy from his ideology. He seems closer to what a Nazi would be even though he denies being a Nazi. Anti-imeperialist, worker's rights, environmentalism, and responsible markets were half of his major ideas that he was pushing.
I have zero interest in watching the video or reading his manifesto. Absolutely disgusting. Apparently NZ not only is one of the most armed countries in the world but there is no central register for guns and there are many loopholes for anyone to get an automatic one. The police and experts had been warning for this for years but nothing was done about it.
You might want to rethink this mentality buddy. Spreading hateful messages like this encourage others who want their own voices to be heard to do the same thing. I suggest you not do this the next time some wackjob posts his manifesto online after going on a killing spree. It's literally what they want.
ofcourse gun control is the problem since any deranged person was able to get automatic guns unregistered. The police had suggested a mandatory buyback for them, hopefully it will get through now.
Yeah then he will use bombs or knives or other weapons... maybe even a truck. Britain is already having politicians suggest knife control measures, now that guns are largely harder to obtain. So yeah I don't think it is the problem. But you are welcome to your opinion.
