I honestly believe he's doing what they want him to do. They know who to send to make sure the Lakers win on TNT. Read some Tim Donoghy articles. He let the cat out of the bag. There's no need for speculation. He straight up told on the NBA and explained the whole rigging process. I researched it after the WCF last year.
Harden should get MVP just for this alone. Speaking the truth about what we all know is true. We all witnessed this happen. I’m for real done with the NBA. What a joke.
Sometimes I wish the rockets actually had a passionate and asshol-ish fan base that the next time Scott foster rigs a rockets home game, the fans just say **** it and start chucking bottles and beer at him to send a message. Who gives a ****, we ain’t winning nothing anyways.
It is a weird feeling to want to confront a total stranger. I use confront because "punch" would be inappropriate.
I don't fking care if the community makes fun of harden for complaining about a sht ref. Foster and Brothers are two of the shittest refs that have a vendetta towards the Rockets or something.
Everyone just remember that we still got Tony Brothers and Mike Callahan who also have our number. The problem with Scott Foster is that he's an insta-lock for a Rockets' L at this point. Players, coaches, local beat writers, fans - everyone top down - see "Scott Foster" officiating our game and immediately know it's gonna be 5 v 8 in some key moments of the game. Whether there is actual corruption involving Mr. Foster or there's a personal agenda against CP or the Rockets as Harden states, the main point is that the integrity of the game has been compromised when he officiates our games. Harden's definitely getting fined for referencing Foster's officiating in Gm 7, but his point about it being "for sure, personal" is a legitimate grievance.
The difference is we win games with Brothers as a ref but he is not a good official. Foster has a personal vendetta, we’ve won 1 game in the last two seasons with him as the lead official.
Foster is trash and deserves the worst to happen to him. Rockets roster too flawed in too many areas, once you take Harden out of the game with these fouls they got no shot. Sad to see.. Rockets could play as well as humanely possible in playoffs and still lose if refs call a few phantom fouls on harden. Refs absolutely can fix these games and most fans wouldn’t even know.
Or in the case of the rest of the internet, they ENJOY the refs fixing games as long as it's against the Rockets. TBF, most of us also enjoyed that rigged 2016 finals tho
Yup. Don’t mind seeing a series rigged against the warriors. Also wouldn’t mind seeing their key players blow out a knee or something.
Tilman should go low... campaign to undermine the guy. We're talking about massive amounts of money that he's lost Tilman.
Rockets need to bite the bullet and call out this cheating *******. Coach, GM, players and owner, whatever it takes to get him fired. Tilman can prove his loyalty by paying the fines. Foster is already regarded as the worst ref by most of the league, a whole team calling him out might put pressure on the league office.
