This is a list of all the guys that Houston May be looking at. Some are familiar and some may surprise you’ll. One thing they all have in common is that they are all versatile. Being able to knock down the 3, especially the corner 3, is what most if not all are capable of.

    Shabazz Muhammad
    Milos Teodosic
    Marreese Speights
    James McAdoo
    Josh Huestis
    Omri Casspi
    Trevor Booker
    Luke Babbitt
    Darrell Arthur
    Aaron Afflalo

Beasley has signed with a team in China. I'm more interested if Trevor Booker can be a part time PF. The rest don't make sense, although I'm somewhat interested if Zach can play as a backup center. I'm having doubts about this though, since he hasn't played a single game this year.

    https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sp...lbag-How-will-Rockets-fill-their-13627988.php

Q: What two players are possibilities ahead of the deadline for 14 players on a roster. Also, would we be looking to fill that 15 spot also?

A: I really can't offer a definitive answer. They need to add two by Thursday, but can do it with 10-day contracts. With Markieff Morris going to Oklahoma City, I would not be surprised — and this is speculation — that they might just use their initial moves to look at developmental guys while buying time for other buyout free agents that might come loose later in the month. Henry Ellison is interesting. Ike Anigbogu remains a project. Omri Casspi might be a more typical buyout market pickup, though he would seem likely to look for more playing time. If you are not too excited by those names, you and the Rockets could be in the same boat, waiting for a few more buyouts to consider.

I agree with you in general .

But the best of the buyouts this year were guards .... (outside of Morris )

And we are full of guards . Our 1-3 looks like this .

    Harden , Paul , Gordon , rivers , shumpert, green .

I really don't prefer Matthews or Ellington to any of those guys .

Who else did we miss out on ? I just didn't the buyout market was that great FOR US . And I generally don't think it's ever that strong .

Yeah, this is definitely all I’m expecting to see happen in the immediate future. One or two developmental guys on 10-day contracts while we cross our fingers hoping somebody rotation worthy gets bought out.
