PG13 been killing it lately. Thunder sitting at the 3rd seed with a less talented team than when KD was a thunder. And the team chemistry is looking real smooth. I don't see PG13 blow a 3-1 lead and Westbrook seems to really appreciate his presence.

He's also averaging 28.7 points this season

No, he isn't (my opinion, but he isn't) He's having one hell of a season, though, and I wish he wore our uniform.

PG13 is a great example of a superstar.

Westbrook isn't quite as insecure now that he has his individual accolades, but it isn't as if they are better than they were with Durant. He's still playing the same style, making plays and taking unnecessary shots.

George is in the midst of a preposterously hot stretch over his last 12 games (49% from 3). When he levels out to more standard, but still great shooting we'll see how great they are. George is easily their most valuable player, but I'm still not convinced that they are all that good. Mainly because of Westbrook's inability to know his own weaknesses.

George is a beast, but I'm not ready to say his recent stretch is his actual level. If it is he's the best player in the world.

    I will take Kevin Durant.

Paul George is extremely hot right now but Durant has shown that he is almost impossible to stop.

I agree. Plus, are we comparing PG to KD now? Or the KD of 4 years ago that played with Westbrook?

And regarding OKC, I think the Rockets would take them out in 5 or 6.

A healthy Rockets team has a very good chance of beating the Thunder, especially if the Rockets end up adding a player like Morris to play the 4/5.

I think the better "_____ vs ______ : who is better?" question is:

Paul George vs Kawhi Leonard. Who ya got, there?

Paul George every day of the week. Paul George used to struggle carrying his team down the stretch from the handful of close games I saw him in the past. Now, he is doing everything you want your star player to do.

I think you have to say Durant at this point because he has performed at a superlative level on the highest stage possible.

Paul George is the reason why the Thunder is in 3rd place now. What he is doing now is the reason Westbrook has no excuse for playing hero ball all the time, kind of like when he had Durant.

To borrow a Clutchfans meme: Paul George is about to show the world he's on Durant's level.

He can make a case for it when he's a two time finals MVP.

PG is having a career season, but his level of play could be eclipsed by KD without question...KD is coasting in GS and doesn’t need to push himself

I think KD could average 35, 8, and 5 on over 60% TS if he absolutely needed to

Could be said about Harden too.

If either one of Harden or PG got on GSW instead of Durant, having all those other Allstars carrying the load for them, would have been a lot easier to shine in the Finals.
