I was really impressed with Shumpert's D in the first half. He caused a lot of deflections and didn't lose his man in head to head engagements. More than the made 3s, the Rockets D was real the catalyst in the first half. A good reason for that was Shumpert.

Part of the point was to toss out the players they already had no confidence in to make room for guys they hope they have confidence in while trying to remain as flexible as possible wrt the cap.

Only pic I could find of Tilman holding up a jersey, and I was too lazy to change the number. It's not like I get paid for this ****, y'know? ;)

Judging Shumpert by that one game is NO DIFFERENT from judging Harden by that "no show" game 7.

He brings NEW thread creation on the GARM.

New thread production down 50% post-Melo and post-trade deadline.

That's the most annoying part about the loss to OKC. It's like they completely forgot what got them the lead in the first place, and they just started spamming 3's, and playing lazy defense. They thought the lead would just hold itself. This is what a head coach is supposed to protect the team against.....lackadaisical, lazy, uninspired play after building a big lead. But instead, he watches it all play out and doesn't think that a timeout might help them hit the reset button.

Ennis doesn't play defense. Being a inch or to taller cant fix that

You only look as good as opponent allows you to, OKC started defending and we suddenly couldnt score until the end of the game(besides the time when CP decided to play like CP again but Harden took the ball out of his hands in the end anyway)

Shut up... Iman helps us wayy more than a unplayable mirotic against GS.

Plus we arent paying the tax while getting better at the deadline.

PJ was actually #4 last year when we signed him. Who on earth wore #17 last year? Should I know this?

i was pleased w/ his disruptive D in the 2nd Q as well. he could definitely be a difference maker on that end. but at the same time he is a horribly inefficient scorer and has always been so i'm not sure how much pringles will be able to keep him on the court. GS already knows to double off this guy and let him launch wide open bricks.

another issue is that our biggest need right now is at the 3-4 positions, we need taller longer players. this move to me is 15% stong perimeter defender for the stretch run, and 85% get under the tax this year and then let him expire off the books in the summer
