Your initial post I replied to was an "oh woe is us, how much worse can this team get". You are talking abut a team currently in first place in their division and enjoying a historic run by Harden.

They had the best record in the NBA by 6 games last year to no avail. If the only way they can win the championship is by having home court throughout, then you might as well quit watching. They have to jump over 9 teams and make up 9 games. Not happening.

 

they don't need to get the 1 seed to get home court. That's the realistic goal. I'm not unrealistic either.

 

They need it to ensure home court. Theoretically, they could have it throughout the playoffs right now if everything breaks perfectly. But...it won't.

Jazz, Spurs, Lakers, Clips, Kings, Suns, Grizz, Pelicans, TWolves, etc. are worse.

If true, then not good for the Rockets as I seriously doubt Tilman will allow Morey to sign anyone before Feb 21st, since that would push them over the tax line.

Keep in mind being under the tax line not only saves Tilman from paying millions extra, he would also GAIN 3+ million from the tax redistribution for being under the tax line! So we talking at least a 6+ million dollar swing here... that's a lot of meals at landrys!

 

If you are not unrealistic why did you make a whining post asking how "bad can it get" when the Rox is still 5th in the West and first in their division?

And why tf do you keep insisting the Rox need HCA to not get boned in the playoffs? Did HCA last year help the team win a ring or what?
