I wonder if LeBron regrets joining Lakers. They might not even make playoffs! If they barely miss out, i think LeBron might regret and his legacy takes a big hit.

It's amazing how these national media types are just dismissing the possibility of the Lakers missing the postseason. They're in 10th place right now. They're behind the Clippers and Kings. And yes, the Clippers organization probably doesn't wanna make the playoffs, but Doc and his players are also not quitting either as their comeback in Boston showed. And the Kings are absolutely trying to make it and have played very well at home lately(blowout loss to the Rockets notwithstanding).

Plus look at the remaining schedule for the Lakers. They have games at Toronto, Milwaukee, Utah, and OKC. They have home games against the Rockets, Bucks, Nuggets, Celtics, Nets, Warriors, Jazz, and Blazers. And that's to say nothing of all their other games some of which aren't necessarily gimmes. They're already at 28 losses. Anything more than 10 more losses the rest of the way and they may not be able to pass the Kings in the standings.

Pretty sure Lebron went there with some under the table incentives. Percent ownership of team, access to more players for his cleverly named Klutch Sports venture, accessibility for the myriad of amazing productions and investments he’s been involved in....who knows.

He rused the Lakers. Big time.

The NBA already put the fix in, for the first game.
I am going to keep paying attention to see how many games they are going to tamper with to get Lebron to the playoffs.
How many times can they do it, before the rest of the league pays attention?

More like do the Lakers regret signing Lebron he messed up their team. If they miss the playoffs then why did they sign Lebron and a bunch of vets they could've been tanking for Zion.

So Davis plays the last game but tonight against the Lakers he sits out? I’m sure that was orchestrated but it still didn’t work. The rest of the Pelicans saw right through that and wasn’t going to give them an easy win.

I'm loving how tanking teams with no hope and direction, are putting in full effort to spoil it for Lebron.

Lebron doesn't regret anything. He knew what he was doing going to LA to lose.

He would've chose Houston if he wanted to win more rings, now he gets to make a ton of money off the court and won't get any blame from the media for losing.

I think LeBron is perfectly content with his prior accomplishments. I remember one article from last offseason on why he won't go to a Houston or Philly that I'll paraphrase:

"If LeBron's Heatles fell short against Boston in 2012, and Ray Allen missed a season-saving 3 the next year, only for LeBron to return to Cleveland in disgrace, but reloaded and more determined than ever. Unfortunately, injuries in 2015, and destructions by the hands of a 73 and two 67 win teams, one of them with Kevin Durant in addition to the record breaking team, lead to LeBron's final and most important decision yet after another finals loss. At 33, he knows his time is running out, and his legacy lays in the balance of his next decision. He knows his only option is to go to a team already ready for a title, to exact his wrath upon a league toying with him at every step, to drown out the countless detractors with titles, to form a superteam the likes never before seen outside of olympic play. Then, LeBron signs with Houston.

But that never happened, LeBron's legacy is secured, He did beat Boston, Allen made his three, and he and Irving came back from down 3-1 to win a ring for Cleveland. LeBron is at worst the second greatest player to step on a basketball court, and looks to further his career once his playing days end. With that in mind, LeBron soaks in the spotlight in LA, lacking in talent, but devoid of expectations."
