At the coogs game. Saw Cp3 and Gordon at the game from far away supporting Kelvin Sampson and his coogs team. No super stars on coogs but Sampson draws up some awesome plays with some killer defense. They're 23-1. I wish d'antoni would run a few plays to get all the players once in a while. Still pissed about last nights game.

watching the Coogs, shows what the Rox are missing.
Consistency, depth, defense, rebounding, everybody contributing, pulling away at the end of the game.

I just wonder if Morey some how was able to bring Butler here early this year would D'Antoni turned Butler into a stand in the corner catch and shoot only guy?

From what I remember MDA was a Lesly Alexander pick because he wanted the Rockets to play fast like his former Suns teams. Morey wanted a more defensive minded coach.

I’m not an alum but I’m all things H Town so I set my whole Sunday around watching the UH/UC game today and I couldn’t be more happy.

Jarreau had me nervous as hell but what a game he had in the 2nd half. Hopefully they can crack the top 10 after today. Sampson has been just an absolute boss for the program. Talk about getting the ENTIRE team to buy in. Go Coogs!

The step back three needs to punctuate and sustain runs to break the other teams back and destroy their resolve. They have to reintegrate the offense for everyone to be a threat. More Pick- n roll with Faried/ and Capela to create ball movement using Rivers Shump Harden Cp3 GG

Coogs star players Robinson and Brooks were cold and the team still won by defense and having Jarreau step up. They ran some good plays with some ball movement. Coogs also take a lot of 3's but they swing the ball around more for higher percentage shots. Rockets can take some notes.

It's all over CP3's instagram. CP3 is a Jordan Brand player, and UH became a Jordan Brand basketball program (only one in the state) last year. There is a reason he wore the outfit he did to the game, and why he posed with the team in the locker room after the game. I'm wondering if CP3 and his connection to Fertita is the reason UH became a Jordan Brand school.

Are they there to learn defense?
