I have no doubt he would shoot better than that with harden and a coach that really instills confidence in his players shooting the ball. I think a change of scenery would do a lot for him.

Marcus is shooting 41% from 3 Kieff is shooting 33%.

Marcus 6 rebounds per game Kieff 5 rebounds.

    Marcus efg% 57
    Kieff efg% 50

Career 3 point shooting Marcus 36.5%
    Kieff 33%

Marcus has become a dog on defense as well.

When they were younger maybe there was an argument. Marcus has clearly become a far better pro over time.

I would be happy with Kieff, but you guys are over rating him just a bit. I think everyone may be the most disappointed with his 3 point shooting. No big deal.

Just pay them under the table to send Markieff to Boston and get Marcus here. Nobody will know.

According to Lakers forum, markieff wants to play for Lakers, but he might not be full recover in the playoffs. Lakers are considering.

I’ll live with my small ball 5 shooting 33% from 3. If he is healthy, expected it to go up a tick to 35-36% with more open looks with Paul and Harden.

He may go to LA, who knows...

But Lakers forum is a cess pool of ignorance... they some how think AD will be a Laker by the playoffs and Kobe is the second coming of Christ.

Looking back at prior posts the OP has made some pretty vague "source:" threads, but none of them have been out right wrong. All of these can be seemed either as common sense, so it's hard to find truth in these or if the OP is just making a good educated guess.

    1. Lebron won't sign with Houston if they win the championship since he doesn't want to be viewed like Durant and LBJ would rather be the key reason a team wins the championship. (Houston then took Golden State to 7, and LeBron signs with LA)
    2. CP3 willing is to take less money if Morey improves roster otherwise he takes the max. (roster gets worse, and then CP3 takes the max but only for 4 seasons instead of 5.)
    3. Butler would re-sign with Houston if traded there, but Houston doesn't want to trade Gordon and Minny doesn't want both Knight and Dieng on the books.
    4. Markieff Morris is interested in signing with Houston, but wants a clear role (probably to get paid this off-season)

As for Markieff actually signing.. I like him as a player but his neck injury does worry me. Reminds me of Brandon Wright where he would be great for us!... and then waived in 3 days cause he got hurt. He won't be a stretch 4 that we would ideally love, but he is willing to take 3s and has a decent enough body on him for the rockets to play him at 4 and some 5. Hopefully he signs and gives us solid minutes.

I’ll buy. We’re going to get somebody good like this before it’s all said and done.

Players aren’t stupid. They see what’s happening here. Name a better system or lead player at maximizing contributions from fringe/buyout players.

I agree with everything you've laid out, but I'd also ask you to look at the different team philosophies and environments they're playing in. Washington has been chaotic and has had questionable coaching/front office efforts. Although Boston has started slow and has had some adjustments, they have a very good coach, better players and a solid front office.

The above has had an impact on their development, style and overall production. Kieff needed a change of scenery.
