    I like what the Mavs are doing. Shedding bad contracts, moving vets that don't move the needle toward contention, and acquiring young pieces for the future.

    I've seen it before in the NBA and MLB too. Once the trade is finalized by the league you worry about injuries (liability), they're not your player anymore.

    Kings are stupid to take on Harrison Barnes 25 million contract next year for expirings. They should have used that cap room to lure someone much better. There are plenty of good impact star players that are freeagents this summer.

    I forget the Mavs have no draft picks the next 3 years.

    They gave one to Atlanta for the Doncic-Young swap on draft day and the other two recently to the Knicks. I hope Porzingis weasels his way out this summer and the Mavs are left with Luka and a bunch of bad contracts.

    F*cking Cuban will be besides himself. Driving around town looking for Euro players to sign of the streets. :D

    I disagree. They've never really been able to sign any good Free Agents without significantly over paying. I suspect Harrison Barnes at 25M is a better value than whatever fourth tier star would take their money in the summer. Barnes contract only has an extra year on it. If he sucks thats another trade chip for the next deadline.
