I didn't say that, you said that. But european players aren't physical enough to make it through the postseason where the game gets physical. The Knicks didn't didn't lose this trade like ppl here claim

7-8 picks? What second rounders and very late firsts?
All these picks are worth than a top3 pick for next year.
We never have had a chance for Davis and I can assure you its not because teams have a personal grudge against us.
Most teams dont have a chance with Davis.

Mavs can sign Kyle Irving too after dumping Powell expiring contract.

That's valid and I understand it. I just feel like we need to be in win-now mode in CP3's quickly-closing window.

Oh absolutely. Not trying to win this year would be stupid, I'm just saying they aren't worried about dumping Knight for nothing.

    Where does that come from?

I remember plenty successful European players in the post season. The Gasols, Parker, Peja, Dirk, Giannis, Batum, Diaw...

I mean all these players have had pretty successful careers and have been players through tough playoff series.

No grudge, but the fear of pairing harden and paul with davis is real.

Tucker and gordon should easily net you two 12-20 picks each. Throw in the rockets 4 first round picks and thats 8 first picks and Capela, who can be traded for better picks, for Davis and Mirotic. What other team can offer them the 2nd best center in the NBA (If you count davis as a PF) and 8 picks?

Dirk was soft 85% of his career. They won a ring by surrounding him with tough physical players, not more european stars. You can get by with one, but you can't build a championship caliber team around 2 euro guys. The game is too physical

The second best center in the NBA isnt Capela, since Embiid and Jokic and Gobert are Centers, but even lets say he was it wont matter because Capela isnt a star.

A young potential future star lets say Murray or Tatum (or Porzingis) is worth more alone than 8 mid picks that 99% will land you role players.
And the Rockets firsts when they trade for Davis will be 25+
