Nope - You have to maintain a healthy salary base with a goal of picking up a buyout (better) player with the remaining MLE. I like House and hope he eventually signs, but it's a team first strategy.

You guys are flipping out too much about this. It will get done. The bad part about this is now we can’t sign a another two way player this season!
So an important player is not gonna be playing on an already thin depth team which can cause issues possibly. We can’t afford to lose currently and Danuel was very helpful.
I feel like him playing the rest of the year in the G league will hurt his value. "Out of sight, out of mind" kinda thing.
People play well with Harden and they always think they are better than they really are.. House is good, but he is never going to have the same success he will have here somewhere else. Especially since he isn't required to do as much.
i agree. especially with CC out, we may need to use that money to robin lopez or another big? that's exactly right. he was serviceable on defensive but not considered a stopper. shouldn't overypay.
