He's not getting traded before the deadline. He wants to delay his come back until after the trade deadline and he just signed a 4yr deal averaging $30M. They thought they could move him with leverage if they locked him up because he is an "all-star."
I read this report on rotoworld a few days ago. Maybe they moved up his timeline since then but seems like a heck of a risk considering the nature of his injury. Rotoworld: http://www.rotoworld.com/recent/nba/1843/markieff-morris Do you have a more recent update? @Duece
No no no no no. Not both. One or the other, sure (although Boston would be dumb to yield theirs). But you don't want them both on the same team.
To be taken with a grain of salt for what it’s worth (Markieff Morris non contact for 6 weeks....dated Jan 3rd) https://www.hoopsrumors.com/markieff-morris
A "go all in" trade: HOU gets: Blake Griffin, Langston Galloway DET gets: Knight, Gordon, Chriss, Melo, 3 firsts, 2 seconds Blake's improved 3pt-shot makes him a great fit for us. Highly risky move, but would make us the favourites for the title. http://tradenba.com/trades/ryv8ChvfN
how come nobody else likes OG Anunoby but me? he's like the perfect ariza replacement. can guard 2.5-4.5s. hit 3's a decent clip (only can get better in this regard). i can't think he'd be too expensive to get as he's been frozen out of the raptors lineup a bit with Siakam's emergence and Green/Leonards arrivals.
Jimmy buckets and markelle fultz for EG and BK. Who says no? Would we even have to throw in a pick given fultz Is almost a bust...
Toronto isn't going to give him up. Siakam and OG are their insurance policy / building blocks for the future, if Kawhi leaves. Danny Green is also a UFA after this season, so that's even more reason to keep wing players like OG. I don't think Philly would do that. They can get better offers for Butler. That's way too much for Blake Griffin. Plus, he's pretty injury prone. Plus, does CP3 even like playing with Blake?
He could be part insurance for Gordon's injury, but we need Prince from the Hawks. I have links in the NBA dish about the Sixers wanting him, also the Blazers and Thunder. Ennis plus Hartenstein and a Top 20 1st rounder works salary wise. Other teams may have better offers I admit, but it's probably the best Houston can offer.
I am not sure this is true rumor. Cavs want a first from grizzlies in exchange of Thompson and parsons.
Please try to give a link or at least a reliable source like ESPN for any potential trades. No offense intended.
@Matt78777 ugh. God help me, I still want Wiggins. I remember thinking a few years ago after Love got exposed against GSW "the Cavs need an athletic wing who can switch on defense and hit open 3s. They'd be better off with Wiggins." Now that he's regressed, there's no guarantee he can do either of those. But our cupboard is bare, Morey said he'd "up the risk profile", Wiggins is a Buy Low candidate with that contract, and morey loves trading for struggling former lotto picks (has yet to work out for him). I'm sorry but I wouldn't hate it
