First Quarter Overview: So far, looks like Capela will be paid $13.8m this year. Remember, these incentives are measured each year for 5 yrs Team Incentive WCF = $1,000,000 Defined as Likely Incentive currently = Nene says we'll be just fine outlook = GO ROCKETS! Positive Vibes Individual Incentives FT% = $500,000 for 65% Unlikely Incentive last year = 56.0% currently = 58.7% outlook = maybe DRB% = $500,000 for 30% Likely Incentive (per Spotrac) last year = 30.8% currently = 24% outlook = negative fwiw: 9 players achieved this last year (Capela being 6th). (Increased minutes means he needs to sustain last year's number over 7 more mpg. Future years, maybe.) NOTE: I'm using BBall Reference's DRB% numbers (rather than nba.com -- which are lower for players), because that's the number that would make it a Likely Incentive per contract. "Likely" means he had to have achieved it the prior year.
deserves its own thread. also does Capela get to add another L in his name for anything this season? asking for a friend
per basketball-reference.com (thru game log) Capela is shooting .644 from the FT line in the last 15 games. Last month of April might decide that incentive. Nice if he can deliver on that.....shows he doesn’t choke under the stress.
Thanks for the split. Try nba.com, it's easier for marking date ranges (click advanced and use calendars), and it has an easy Last N Games picker Bring us back more splits! here: https://stats.nba.com/players/tradi...18-19&SeasonType=Regular Season&LastNGames=15
With basketball-reference I just go to game logs and tap on one game and then another and the site automatically tabulates the stats. Not hard. Site you know that, though.
Holy mackerel...I did not know that. Learn something new every day. Thx! That only works for basic Box Score stats, but still very cool. btw: seems to only support consecutive games. Is there a way to be more selective? That is, if I click Game 5, then Game 13, it tabulates 5 thru 13, which is good. But is there a way also have it just add Game 5 and 13, but no others?
we are at the 41 game mark, now. First Half Overview: Capela making a serious move on FT incentive, and Rockets on WCF incentive Remember, these incentives are measured each year for 5 yrs Team Incentive WCF = $1,000,000 Defined as Likely Incentive 1st Q = 9-11 14th seed, 4 game loses streak currently = Most wins in NBA since Melo was benched outlook = GO ROCKETS! Positive Vibes in OP paying off Individual Incentives FT% = $500,000 for 65% Unlikely Incentive last year = 56.0% 1st Q = 58.7% currently = 62.8% (80% in last 5 games, on 28 of 35) outlook = GOOD DRB% = $500,000 for 30% Likely Incentive (per Spotrac) last year = 30.8% 1st Q = 24% currently = 26.2% (he dropped .4 in just that last game v CLE, so stat is still volatile) outlook = negative fwiw: 9 players achieved this last year (Capela being 6th). (Increased minutes means he needs to sustain last year's number over 7 more mpg. Future years, maybe.) NOTE: I'm using BBall Reference's DRB% numbers (rather than nba.com -- which are lower for players), because that's the number that would make it a Likely Incentive per contract.
