It wouldn't surprise me if Doncic overtakes LeBron/Giannis and gets to that #1 spot. His recent gains are on par with LeBron/Giannis, and when people see these results there might be an even bigger boost for Luka.

Doncic went from 0.7 million to 2.2 million

I am a Rockets fan first and foremost but I voted for Harden AND Doncic, which is something a small-minded bigot like you wouldn't understand.

Harden is the best player in the NBA currently. The fact that people on here are supporting a Mavs player is disgraceful. Might as well vote Jeremy Lin too. Actually, I would vote for Lin before Doncic

Also, it's disgraceful to root for a 19 year old fat kid parading as an athlete, and that too in a Mavs uniform. I expect Rockets fans to have more self-respect than that.

True statement. But, to be fair, the fanfare and notoriety Luka is receiving isn't commensurate to the Mavericks record either. There's only 2 teams in the West with worse records. And despite Luka in the lineup, the Mavs have been dreadful on the road.

He's a nice looking player, for sure, with promise to get a lot better. But many are acting as if he's turned Dallas into a power already.

As good as he's been, he doesn't deserve to start the All-Star game. I'd argue that De'Aaron Fox deserves an AS spot before Luka.

 

I'm voting for both Harden and Doncic (and some others). I'm not closed minded enough to deny someone deserving my vote just because he was drafted by a certain team (something he couldn't control). That would be dumb.
