Too bad James didn't give his shoes to a kid in the cheap seats. That kid sitting courtside was already lucky to have a courtside seat.

ESPN is raving about Mitchell's 33/9 game. James Harden 43/12/10 shakes his head!

It’s really too bad how the strength of conference is not somehow adjusted into a player’s regular season achievements. It’s actually very subjective. Playing every WEST team 3-4 times a season as opposed to twice is certainly not a level playing field considering most of the East out of a handful of teams are perennial fodder.

Lebron HAS NEVER CARRIED A TEAM with against a gauntlet of tough teams (let alone tough conference) like Harden has. Not only this season but every year since Harden’s been in Houston he’s carried the team.

Lebron can’t do that. So many people are so quick to automatically stake Lebron as a GOAT and don’t understand how much better Harden is....PERIOD. What exactly does Lebron do better than Harden? Serious question.

What does Harden do better than Lebron? Carrying a team of non all stars against elite teams in a stacked conference every year.

It was the most effortless 43 you will ever witness. He had 24-9–8 at the half and you would have thought he had scored a quiet 15 points. The ease he accumulates his points is out of this planet

Defense? He also beat GSW and reached the NBA Finals like 9 times in a row. Amd he has 4 MVPs to Harden's 1.

Don't get me wrong I think Harden is better than Lebron this season but being a GOAT type of player means taking his entire record into account. Lebron is the most decorated NBA player since Jordan Harden still has nothing to his resume.

The Cavs are in a semi-tank mode despite the injuries that they are facing. Hood's leg injury is bothering him again.

He is the only Cavs player that I'm somewhat interested in. I would like to see if he is available by Feb 7th, if he healthy by then.

How does any team ever lose to Cleveland, hold crap they look awful.

Harden with seriously the easiest dominant game I have ever seen. 30 minutes and probably 20 minutes worth of effort, which I'm cool with. If a team is gonna allow you to conserve your effort while stomping them, by all means take advantage. He could have gone for a 60/20 game if he really wanted to and we let him play the 4th.

No matter what the future brings, Marguese Chriss will forever have these 12 minutes. He'll have something to tell the grandchildren. He'll tell them about playing with the legendary James Harden, and about that brief span of time on a special night, when Grandpa Chriss showed just the barest hint of a brain to go along with his NBA body.

The best thing about this win is the rest.

    Harden 29 mins
    Rivers 24 mins
    Capela 29 mins
    Tucker 25 mins

Our 4 non scrub players left got some rest lol.

taking his entire record in to account also means you look at the circumstances bro...you look at the context....dont juts buy into media hype..dont just neejerk and count the finals appearances...finals appearances means nothing.. even rings means nothing since robbert horry would be better than lebron

if lebron was playing in the west for the 9 years your post above would never exist and if harden was in the east and ALWAYS playing alongside 2 allstars teammates he would be in the finals each year(PLUS 60 RS wins every damn year) and would have more rings than lebron

player to player comparison harden is a better player
yeah lebron is better at the defensive end but not so much as to overcome hardens offensive advantage so he wins the better player comparison

    'most decorated player since MJ'?

I’ll concede Defense for Lebron, but Harden has been pretty good in that dept the past 2 seasons (including the current season).

On LeBron’s resume, that’s my point exactly. Lebron beat GSW In the finals (amazing Finals by the way), but he also had Kyrie. Without Kyrie they definitely would not have won as evidenced by the finals prior to that year. Lebron has also benefited by being in the EAST thus making his path to the Finals every year significantly easier than Harden in the West.

Granted Lebron can’t help that the East has sucked during his tenure there and all a player can do is make the best of their situation and take advantage of it, which he has and I applaud and respect Lebron for that.

Harden’s career thus far has been a tougher road than Lebron (even during the OKC days) namely because of the teams he’s had to face and conference he’s in. Harden would rule the EAST if he and Lebron switched places.

Lebron’s most impressive championship was when they beat GSW. That was epic and I was so happy for them it happened.

If/When Harden wins a ring, it’ll likely be a similar situation with CP3 alongside. Harden is the best player in my opinion and just needs a ring to solidify his legacy.

I don’t think there’s nearly as significant of a “gap” between Harden and Lebron in GOAT conversations as the masses make it out to be.
