This was definitely @Mr. Clutch & @Bobbythegreat throughout the season. Insert the typical 'he still takes too many sacks and is gonna get himself hurt' comments.
What makes this even better is that it was the second highest scoring team in franchise history and arguably the 2nd best team in franchise history. The only problem with it is that compared to the rest of the league it's only the 4th best offense and they had one of the easiest schedules in franchise history. According to the numbers, this Texans team was still carried by their defense....something that can't happen in the playoffs due to injuries. IMO BOB will have to take the training wheels off of Watson and let him truly dominate rather than simply ensuring he's safe with the ball if the Texans are going to make much noise in the playoffs. I personally think he's capable of it, but I don't think BOB agrees with me.
The guy is a competitor. Perhaps there's something to be said of the "intangibles." https://sports.yahoo.com/deshaun-wa...re-since-sophomore-high-school-182105340.html

Things Watson needs to severely improve on: Everything related to the qb position besdies scrambling for running yards.
Hahaha. I told everyone at beginning of year. We give a 3rd pick in the draft for this performance? The Jordan of the nfl, the saviour, the greatest? We could kept Bryan Hoyer and almost have the same result
Go look at Jordan's playoffs before 91.....especially early in his career. I'll wait. One player can't do it by himself. I never thought the Texans would do something this season. You have to fix the Oline and CBs.

Jordan put up numbers his first couple of times in the playoffs. This is different dude. Watson sucks at reading blitzes He sucks at reading coverages He's innaccurate when he does release it in the pocket . He's got a strong arm and can run and has the nack to dodge multiple rushers once in a while. He sucks at everything else.
The o-line isn't great but people are not placing enough blame on Watson. He can't read blitzes and coverages. He holds on to the ball far too long.
You are clueless. Much of his issues are Oline and lack of healthy WRs. Hopkins was playing with 1 arm most of the game.
