    Goldy should have been Plan A, Plan B, and Plan C.

    For the poll, Realmuto is too costly in terms of prospect. Harper is too costly in terms of cost. Cruz may be too costly in terms of cost, but is the most likely scenario of the three.

    Not really. The first post in the thread does, but the poll's question is simply which player provides the greatest upgrade. My point is that the poll doesn't account for cost, even if OP addresses it in the thread itself. That's going to skew the results of the poll.

    None of the above. I'd rather get a pitcher and not have to rely on Peacock/rookies for 2 rotation slots

    There is nothing that says we can’t upgrade offense and sign one of Harper or Cruz. If you want to trade Tucker for an elite SP, I get that, but we can still buy an upgrade too.

    Yeah I agree I was mainly thinking about all the realmuto rumors. I really don't see Harper signing with the Astros at all though, so I'll vote Cruz
