My understanding is that most of the film was written and shot well after Black Panther's box office run.

No, but it didn't show much -- I believe it was all the beginning of the movie essentially. Also, as we've seen in the other trailers you can't trust them. (See: Hulk in Wakanda/Infinity War trailer)

Exactly. Kevin Feige is a genius at making money for Disney. If he knew how popular Black Panther was going to become, T'Challa would have survived the snap and would have been a more prominent player in Infinity War. I have no doubt.

A transgender Hispanic is not going to make Disney any money. Pay attention.

It seems that the "original Avengers" (filmwise) are those who must save the universe. I won't say more out of respect for the one dude who must have been in cryosleep 7 months ago and missed Infinity War.

Are there really people surprised that Hawkeye is core to the second film?

Where did people see the second film going? It seemed like a pretty obvious conclusion after the first. I wasnt sure about Ant Man until after the post credits scene in the "Wasp" film, but the way they very conspicuously pointed to Hawkeye's absence in the first with a character asking about it? Seemed like pretty heavy handed foreshadowing, to me.

First thing that popped into my head, this was the title they were so secretive about and was afraid would "give away the movie?" I'm glad the trailer didn't give much away and Infinity War is probably a top 5 movie all-time for me, but I'm underwhelmed here.

Are you waiting until Endgame comes out, and then watching both movies back to back? Not judging, but there shouldn't be any reason an MCU fan hasn't watched Part I yet.

I mean...the movie isn't titled "Black Panther: Endgame." Rightfully so, it looks like the movie will be focused on the original Avengers figuring out a way to save the people in the soul stone.

Ok, lol.. EXPLAIN ANTMAN THEN!!! homie has a HUGE role in Endgame!

I know this movie is an ensemble. They could have carved out something for T'Challa to do just like Ant Man ushering in the new phase as the OG's depart the franchise. Black Panther is one of the few characters to actually wield the infinity gauntlet in the comics. I'm not asking for Black Panther 2, I wanted him included in Endgame (it can still happen this is only the first trailer).
